Nice spa day during the weekday. Relatively clean and staff were friendly. We were greeted with some wellness drinks and macaroons, which was nice.

The massages were relatively expensive for what it is, didn’t feel like you get the full 30/1 hour massage.

The infinity pool is small but since it wasn’t too busy it was nice to sit and chill, overlooking some greenery.

We also ordered food, to my surprise the sushi were actually quite nice, especially the tempura prawn one, very different from the usual I have. I would not recommend the lamb chops, very dry and the sauce was just too much.

Been a member for around 5 years. Myself and partner. Our membership has gone from £95 a month to now £160 each. Mrs has just had a baby, thats 8 weeks old. Can't walk or talk but they want us to pay £30 per month for the baby to lie in a pram whilst we take it in turns to work out!! Hardly promoting mums to get back into the gym hey!! Top notch service!! Thumbs up!!

Booked for our wedding anniversary, including massage. First time for my husband. Unfortunately we didn't share a room like I thought we would as my room was next to an empty bed, but not a big enough deal to query. I had the Hale signature massage and he had the deep tissue. Mine was nice, the oil I chose had lavender in it and the scent was so lovely and calming. The massage was mild pressure and nice enough. Not memorable. Towards the end you're left to rest for a while and given a small yummy sorbet. The latter part of the experience eats up into the hour. It was nice but I rather that time for the massage! I wouldn't do it again.

The spa facility was nice and clean. We spent our time upstairs in the heated pool which was so relaxing. The steam room was really hot... Sauna as well - just how my husband likes it. He was in heaven.

We spotted Manchester Uniteds Scott McTominay. There aren't many spa resorts around so you're likely to spot a celebrity.

Oh and as for the changing facilities... Really nice and clean. Several vanities to choose from, nice big waterfall showers, great quality hair dryers. Fruit and water provided.

We would go back for the spa facilities only.

Rough experience there, always something broken whether that the lift, showers, the jets in the spa, the jacuzzi overheating and that's not to even mention the nasty sort of people that go here. You don't see any of this on the tour, only after you've paid. They also give the tour on the weekend so you have no idea how packed it gets until you go on a weekday. Overall bad experience from what at first seemed like a great gym/spa facility.

Disappointing experience overall. Went here for the afternoon for a spa treatment and lunch. The spa treatment was excellent, no complaints and would recommend. However using the spa facilities was disappointing, the infinity pool was nice but when you looked over the spillover the bottom was filled with empty plastic glasses/cups/bottles. There is also a seated area in there which had empty plastic bottles lying around, we were there for 4 hours and they weren't cleared away. The food was also disappointing, I had the chicken burger, checked the menu and no mention of sauce on the burger, when it arrived both brioche buns were smothered in mayonnaise, the worst of all sauces to have on a burger. No one checked if we were happy with the meal, which is pretty basic customer care in the food industry. I should not have to chase round looking for staff, not at the prices this place charges. Overall a disappointing experience, but the treatment I went there to have was fantastic.
