Had an absolutely amazing time here. Gorgeously decorated, brilliant host - and in a peaceful area so this was ideal for mine and my partner’s getaway. Everything was clean and the hot tub was ready for us for when we arrived ! Will definitely come again ! Thank you Ailsa !

This was our second stay at this gem of a place. House,grounds apartments all wonderfully clean. Owners and staff are fantastic friendly and can not do enough for you. Have not used the swimming pool or steam room but they look wonderful (maybe next time when we are not doing so many other things. There is a lounge and games room both look amazing. The breakfast well what can I say, if anyone faults the breakfasts here then I am affraid they must be mad. The choices you have are great. Love this place and will keep returning, WHO WOULDN'T WANT TOO.

We stayed here to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary! What a place! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we had a fabulous time. Everyone we met was so helpful, friendly and welcoming. The facilities were amazing. We would like to say a huge thank you and we’ll be back, in the summer!! Thanks once again x

Stayed here for 1 night after a wedding. Lovely garden ground, bed very comfortable and bathroom super clean. The host Ailsi was super friendly and connected me to other wedding guests who were staying at the retreat that helped me a great deal. She was a wonderful host, very thoughtful and considerate. Truly decedant. The property is set in beautiful gardens, with lovely views over the hamble and Southampton water. The inside is pristinely maintained as well as clean and tidy. Rooms are cleaned every day to a perfect standard was the bathroom. Facilities are fantastic with a lovely swimming pool, jacuzzi and steam room. The staff are so friendly and simply cannot do enough to make sure you are completely happy with your stay and if there's anything they can do to help they fall over themselves to do so. Breakfast is delicious and always served with a smile and lovely conversation. Vegan options were provided for me at no extra cost and were delicious. Overall 13/10 for this property!

Stayed overnight for a work visit, I was really impressed with the value for money. The friendly host provided me and my colleague a guided tour around the main house and even made some recommendations on where to eat out. I had everything I needed to make my stay enjoyable, and I'm even considering coming back on weekend visit soon.
The difficult thing was locating the entrance, that's it.

Exceptional and consistent. Julie is a wonderful host and nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended for a relaxing break. Good local restaurant and pub plus further afield Hamble Le Rice reached by tiny pedestrian ferry for £2 each way.

My friend and I stayed at Hamble Retreat during this year's Goodwood Revival. Ailsa, the caretaker/hostess, was fantastic, efficient, and made custom breakfasts for us each day. The rooms are very roomy, the bathrooms are wonderful. The ONLY knock on the property was there is NO signage. Finding your way in the first time, especially in the dark, is nearly impossible. But, after that it is great. Warsash is a delightful small town with two great pubs and one very nice restaurant.
