After 3 months of hip pain that was limiting my walking and driving, I went for physio. Martyn diagnosed gluteal tendinopathy and started me off on exercises. Within 2 weeks I was pain-free, and after that further graduated strength building exercises have brought further benefit. I am now back to my normal active self again! Great job Martyn.

Having had two frozen shoulders within the last 2 years, I decided to contact hands that heal following cortisone injections on the NHS.
The staff at Hands That Heal are very welcoming. A detailed history was taken and a treatment plan agreed with exercises that did not cause me pain. I have had a series of sports massages on my upper arm, shoulder and upper back.
Within a period of approximately 10 weeks, the improvement in movement and reduction in pain has been brilliant.

I attended Hands that Heel after suffering a shoulder injury. A long process of rehab, 4 months. Martyn was great at explaining the injury and the rehab required. The routine really worked, i stuck to it and Martyn continually increased the exercises and set new targets. 4 months in my shoulder feels better than its done for a long time and I'm starting to reach my exercise goals again and can't thank Martyn enough for working with me on it and helping get me through it.

Thorough assessment of injury. Both with questions and physical manipulation.
Injury determined as muscular and addressed with detailed massage of the area. Next day could feel the effects of the massage but not uncomfortable. Day after all sharp pains gone and virtually none of the massage effects evident.
Feel 100% better.
Will not hesitate to contact Martyn again should the need arise.
