Great food with a view!

Had a delicious burger — juicy, flavourful, and cooked just right. The smoothie was super refreshing. Relaxed atmosphere and a unique view of the airfield. Highly recommend for a casual bite with a twist! The staff are friendly and attentive. Definitely visiting again for a cup of coffee.

Waited 25 minutes for a soggy ham and cheese toastie with no cheese in it. Just thrown together and quite expensive for this too. Staff walking around aimlessly, dirty tables everywhere. Coffees coming in cold because they’re so behind in serving. Very understaffed and poor management. No cutlery/napkins/sauces in sight.
The atmosphere is just brilliant with the planes though. This could be such a special place, really needs some training and TLC

Fine for an aerodrome watching breakfast but not what it was.... The full English and simple breakfast options are good quality and nicely done. The menu isn't very exciting beyond that but if you are coming to see the planes it is definitely good enough. The service is friendly although not without a couple of issues which were politely rectified. Unfortunately, it is not what it was. Such a shame that all the aircraft pictures and memorabilia and the aircraft in the hangar are gone. It isn't the fantastic place it used to be but it is certainly very decent. And they do now have loos inside the restaurant which is helpful.

Hidden gem! I discovered Hangar 9 a few weeks ago when visiting my parents who live fairly local to the cafe. It's such a nice venue, especially if you have young children who are interested in planes/aircraft. My son loved seeing the planes and helicopters close up.

The food was excellent, we had three different options off the menu, all of which were great. Plus the staff were super friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be returning when were back in the area.

It was a weekday so probably not that busy. Service was fast and good location (shame about the 6 foot high fence on the airside).

However the menu is mostly fried, my request for a Tuna-mayo sandwiche was met with complete incomprehension. Large portions so anyone who is not concerned about their cardio-vascular health will find it perfect.

The food was fine, good value for money. Docking a few stars for the lack of a bin inside the women's washroom or outside it, forcing me to go to the counter holding a soiled tampon asking where to dispose of it. In addition, there's no baby changing table in the men's bathroom, only the women's, so it seems like they believe it's a woman's job to change nappies.

A long overdue visit to Hangar 9. Have been meaning to go there since it was called Pilot's Hub.
Truly worth it. The food and drinks were amazing, with the experience enhanced by such an interesting backdrop of the airfield.
My daughter thoroughly enjoyed herself and it intrigued her interest in aircrafts and made us want to take flight lessons and get a pilot's license!!
