First visit to this Garden center and it didn't disappoint..
A huge selection of plants and shrubs along with hanging baskets all very pretty.
There are all kinds of things to buy for the garden such as pots novelties ornaments and much more .
It really is a lovely place to visit just about everything you need is here
The coffee shop is great too with some delicious cakes being served.
I'm pleased I went and would recommend a visit here.

We had 6 Tutti Fruiti baskets refilled this year and they are truly outstanding already considering we only picked them up 2 weeks ago - exceptionally pleased with them AGAIN

Picked up my hanging baskets 3 weeks ago. Just look at them now. Just the same as last year the two in the garden are Tooty fruity , and the one in the front is Is Royal Britannia. Full of colour. 😍😍

Very good garden centre with some beautiful hanging baskets on display. Nice cafe the Potting Shed for a variety of meals and drinks.
Went to the Hanging Gardens again on 9th August with my friend. The hanging baskets displays are magnificent and so colourful. Took a few pictures this time of them and Tree of Life Wall plaque and another with a bee design. Visited the Potting Shed again for coffee and then a light lunch. Absolutely delicious and obviously a very popular place as most tables were taken.

This is for the café. It's the first time I've been although it's close. Good for an everyday café, the usual sandwiches etc. Although there is no information on the website, they did have gluten free bread. I was a bit surprised they didn't have jacket potatoes when we went but the soup was excellent and the gluten free bread nice (if you have coeliac disease you'll know it isn't always... ) Staff very friendly and helpful, service was quick. We weren't hassled to leave when we were having tea after we had eaten.

The cafe is nice but mucked up my sandwich order, wrong bread (granary instead of white) and forgot to put onions with the tuna and mayo also. Ate it rather than complain - it was very nice to be honest - they did realise the onion mistake eventually but I had eaten 3/4 of my sandwich by then.

The Garden Centre was extremely quiet with only 3-4 cars parked at 1.30pm. The place looks like it's not in the greatest of shape. Loads of very empty display areas gives impression it could be on it's last legs, I didn't see many staff about in any area, that'll explain why so many plant displays etc outside were in such a poor state - I counted at least 12 large plant pots just left lying across the floors - not safe at all and I was very surprised that no staff etc had botheted to address this.

From the state of the place in general I would not be surprised if it's going through the motions etc ........ ☹️

I'm quite surprised by the 'touchy' response back from the owner. It would appear constructive criticism hit a 'nerve'.

I only saw two members of staff in the entire area of the garden centre (except the cafe area) - had the weather been better with more customers etc, I have little doubt the tills etc would have been an issue given such understaffing in place.

I don't expect to be greeted down every aisle by staff as suggested. However, given the state of numerous aisles, including those covered from the elements, left plant pots strewn everywhere, it was quite concerning to see. The excuse by the owner to leave the aisles in such a poor state to avoid damage to more plants simply doesn't wash - they as owners, have a responsibility under the Health & Safety Act to protect both their staff and customers - perhaps more focus on addressing issues like this could prevent possible injuries resulting and subsequent claim(s) occuring.

Regarding your comment on eating my food quickly was so offensive and inappropriate and totally wrong. For one I am currently recovering from radiotherapy following recent throat surgery. Secondly, I sat in the cafe for almost an hour whilst eating, I didn't finish all my food due to difficulties - I suggest you find out the facts before making such disgusting assumptions in future.

Finally, read my other review on the cafe, apart from the avoidable errors made - the food was good, I have no complaints there at all. Perhaps a bit more concentration by the younger members of team staffing the cafe would be most helpful.

We've been wanting to take a trip out to this garden centre for quite a while and a Tuesday Spring day was the perfect opportunity.

A great selection of plants and shrubs, fruit plants and general garden supplies can be found here.

Very handy if you need lots of garden/potting compost as you can drive right up to load theses supplies.

Added bonus, they have a superb restaurant/coffee shop as well as a few garden centre mogs!
