This hotel was surprisingly very good. I was very pleasantly surprised. on arrival i nearly didn't entre as it was 10pm and dark with no lighting at the entrance. it didn't look safe to enter as a single female. Even the reception was very plain and not great. However the bar area was warm and cozy, bright and lively. My room was absolutely lovely with a very comfy bed and clean linen with a newly refurbished bathroom. |I had 2 chairs facing out to sea although the windows were steamed up so couldn't really see out of them during the night, but after breakfast sat looking out to sea and did some paperwork.|Great stay had a show round form Bruno the manager, who was lovely like the rest of the staff I interacted with at the hotel. saw the spa which was a great add on and highly recomended.

? ? ? £?, ? ? ? ? ? ?, ? ? ? ? ? , ? ? ? ? ? ?.||I stayed at the Brighton Harbour Hotel & Spa on Wednesday 2nd October 2024, for one night. I had booked this room as I was speaking at the BrightonSEO Conference, at the Brighton Centre, on Thursday. ||I checked in just after 15:00pm, with no issues at all from reception. When I first entered room 212 I was surprised by the size of the room, the view from the window, and the lack of a desk. Having booked via booking.com, the photos used to advertise this room clearly show a desk. A desk was needed as I was in Brighton for work. ||However, due to a busy schedule (I was taking a speaker tour from 5pm - 7.30pm on Wednesday evening), rehearsal for for speaking, and an educated guess that the hotel would be fully booked (5000+ attend BrightonSEO) I decided not to request a room change, as I did not want to deal with additional stress. ||That said, I then found further issues with the room, as documented below:||Dirty, unclean room|Photos attached||-The cushion on the bed has a visible sweat stain, and smelt of sweat. It needs to be dry cleaned or replaced. |-There was a used cotton bud ball with make-up on it, within the bathroom. This dissuaded me from using any of the products. ||Tired and cluttered interior|Photos attached||-The room needs a paint, with scuffed sideboards it is not luxury. |-The kettle did not fit on the sideboard, and does not have a lead long enough for the extension plug. I had to boil the kettle on the floor. This is not luxury. ||False advertising - |Photos attached||-The pictures clearly show a desk in the 'Small Double Room' option when I booked, no description was on it when I booked several months ago. |-It states the room size is 65 square feet. Judging by the fire escape plan, this is not the case. When leaving the receptionist also referred to it as the 'closet room'.||I think for £100, and not including breakfast this was unacceptable and am requesting a full refund.

We visited the hotel for 5 days on our honeymoon and it was the perfect location for us. With the beach right out in front of us we had a great view from our room and easy access to loads of fantastic places within Brighton. The only downside was round the corner student night is on Thursdays and it was a bit noisy but not bad at all, with the windows closed it didn't disturb our sleep at all.
The room was fantastic, comfortable with excellent bathroom facilities complete with robe/slippers for lounging/visiting the spa on the lower floor.
All staff we encountered from reception, to bar/restaurant, to cleaning were all lovely and helpful.
The rooms were immaculate, the food from the restaurant was to a very high standard and the spa facilities were amazing.
The hotel ticked all boxes and we would definitely go back if we ever visit Brighton again in the future!

A fantastic hotel positioned right on the sea front. The rooms were a good size and felt luxury with massive beds! The surprise and star of the show was the spa. It’s tucked away in the basement and has two levels, a great pool for swimming and separate hydrotherapy pool, steam and sauna rooms and relaxation areas. It was clean and relaxing. Harbour might be priced a bit higher but it’s really worth it! Highly recommended.

Arrived 24th Oct for my birthday treat. Its been a year of surgeries and I was very excited. Found disabled parking not too far from the hotel which is opposite the beach. THE COST OF THE SPA AND BREAKFASTS WERE NOT INCLUDED...for the money we spent it should have been. The lift is tiny an cosy, holding only two people and luggage. The corridors are endless but we were round by the back of the hotel. NO VIEW. The room was awful. It has really upset my daughter who treated me to the trip. We could have got a better basic holiday abroad and enjoyed it better than what she paid for the night. Would not spend my hard earned money on something like this ever again

Love this hotel! What a great find. This hotel has the best secret spa in Brighton, free to guests with a great array of pools, saunas etc. The staff were absolutely lovely, allowing me to check in far too early after a long flight. Great experience. Single rooms too, which are excellent value if you're travelling alone.

Don’t come here to sleep!

Hotel is a lovely building, rooms are well equipped and clean (except the windows). But the relentless, pounding, bass from neighbouring clubs until 3am at the weekend is really a problem. Take this hotel a 100m up the road and it would be great for all - just not here. The hotel’s website should really warn of this disturbance, not relying on unhelpful snippy review replies. We left exhausted & disappointed.

Firstly, book directly with hotel to get free use of spa (which is excellent). Our Sea-view room(worth the extra) for view, was clean with comfortable bed. Friendly staff and great bar and lounge. We had the £18 breakfast for £12 deal one morning, maybe not that cheap but is excellent selection :all quality. A little club noise from beach but the free decanter of gin might help take the edge off that. For me it was a pleasure not to have to complain about anything.
