Just back from a weekend away with the in-laws. This is the house I would love to own, the gardens and the layout of the downstairs were perfect (but for a couple of minor things) Just a couple of things that prevented it from being 5 stars. For a house with 5 rooms catering for 10 people, there was only 1 shower upstairs and that was in one of the bedrooms, the 2nd shower was on the ground floor, the house would be better served to fit a shower in the upstairs bathroom.

In the village itself, you have a great chip shop and the red lion pub within 1 minute of the house, 2 Morrisons daily's, a cafe, a fantastic butchers and bakers. There are plenty of little walks to do, (Maps available in the cafe and post office) Market Weighton is a 10 minute drive and Beverley a further 15 minutes.

Would certainly stop here again.
