My partner and I stayed over night for our anniversary and had the best time! The staff could not do enough for us and were so friendly. They have a small terrace with a hot tub that you can hire privately and it was the perfect romantic treat for us. Room was clean, breakfast was tasty and location was great, but the lovely staff made our trip. Couldn’t recommend enough!!

Standards of this place have shockingly fallen. My partner books this place for us when visiting family but don’t think we’ll be returning. There seems to be a lot of chaos during breakfast and when I asked to speak to a Manager afterwards I was told she wasn’t available to speak to guests as she wasn’t in yet. I can see the owners are trying to improve the venue but staff are not trained to making simple coffees. The room itself was lovely but not clean especially bedspread stains, dust and limescale in kettles, dirty glasses in restaurant and a general feel of tired. We checked out after two days and felt let down.

This was an unexpected treat. The hotel was quiet, pleasant, small, friendly and in the very heart of Bath.
Our standard room was fine and the 53 steps up to it kept us fit. There are, of course, rooms on lower floors.
Breakfast demands special mention. Hot breakfasts are cooked to order with first class ingredients and the menu is tantalising - do try the avocado and poached egg. The tea and coffee are both piping hot and full of flavour. And all this is served by friendly, helpful and efficient staff.
Reception is something else. We’ve never had a warmer welcome mixed with a sense of humour from a lovely lady.
What a refreshing difference from the big hotel chains is Harington’s.

We stayed here for one night. We booked direct and got breakfast included. And, dogs are allowed, so our dog came with us! Heather who took our booking over the phone was at the hotel when we arrived and when we left. She was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good and the hotel is really well located in the centre Bath. Our room was a standard double on the top floor. The room was pretty basic and had a sloping ceiling (fine for us but something to be aware of). But, it was good for a night.

We had the most beautiful and relaxing stay ever ♥️♥️ rooms were clean, warm and full of character!! It was so much different from the usual hotels that we stayed in the past because every room had unique touches and made the whole experience so cozy 🤍 . We brought our little cat with us and he seemed to enjoy the room too!! He kept lying on the carpet or chilling by the closet 😂Beds were very comfortable and the rooms had all the amenities that we needed! My family and I were very pleased with everything and we want to give our Special thanks to Heather ♥️♥️ she is such a lovely sweet lady always ready to help and she even let us bring our cat for breakfast downstairs by preparing a beautiful table at the bar area ♥️, the young gentleman at the reception who helped us with our jacuzzi and drinks, and the lovely young waitress in the morning, who served us the most delicious breakfast ever, everything was so fresh and tasty and kept us full for the rest of the day 🥹🙏🏻.
Location was excellent too ! We booked the thermal spa which was 2 min away, and we had reservations in many popular restaurants in Bath we were so surprised to see that all of them were less than 5 min away .
We saw so many things and discovered so many places around the city and never used any taxis or public transport because the hotel has the best location ever ♥️♥️
Everyone was so welcoming and hard working, we thank you very much for your hospitality and beautiful hotel ♥️ we are already planning to come back in a few months 🙏🏻♥️

This is a small, cosy, superbly located hotel right in the heart of Bath. |We stayed in a comfortable if unremarkable room at the back of the hotel. It was very quiet but I can imagine that a room at the front, particularly in the summer months, could be quite noisy with the Raven pub being directly opposite with outside seating. |We had very little contact with staff but they were all friendly and helpful. We didn’t have breakfast in as we met friends in town. If you book direct then apparently breakfast is free!|If you want a friendly, comfortable place to stay in Bath, with all of the main attractions within a short walk, and at a reasonable price then you this is for you.

What a fabulous little hotel. In a perfect central location down a little cobbled street and very quirky, cosy and inviting - great value for money. Staff couldn’t do enough and are an asset to the hotel. Rooms were beautifully decorated to a high standard and lovely and warm and quiet at night. Would definitely stay again. If you’re a stickler for cleanliness this hotel is not for you. Positives: quiet, central location, comfortable bed. Negatives: No lift and our room was three flights up… difficult with heavy suitcases. Reception staff (except Emily) were unhelpful. Bathroom was hardly cleaned. In fact, the debris on the bathroom floor was never cleaned up for the three days while we were there. The toilet was also not cleaned. We had to go to reception to ask for toilet paper. The first day they made the beds, but left all the wet towels in the bathroom on the floor. We had to go downstairs and ask for clean towels. The common rooms were apparently never vacuumed or cleaned. We know this because we observed dead leaves and debris that remained on the carpet for the three days we were there. The ceiling of our bedroom had apparently leaked from above and was never repaired. This hotel was a disappointment. Would not recommend.
