We have just come home from a long weekend, we stayed in the Threshing Barn with our little dog and had such a great time. It was such a lovely comfortable place and we felt at home instantly. It was very clean, warm and cozy with some lovely old features. Aiden and Linda were such lovely, warm, welcoming hosts, we had breakfast one morning in the main house and it was really delicious. For us, the location was not quite right as we would have liked to have been able to walk out directly onto the moors as our little dog doesn’t walk so far now. But we took to the car and explored the area and it was just perfect. Thank you Aiden and Linda for being so welcoming!

We approached the Harrabeer Country House to see if they would be interested in hosting a small 80th afternoon tea gathering. Linda and Aidan said of course and they didn't disappoint. The whole group enjoyed the event and the food and drink was delicious. Thank you ever so much. We'll come again.

We had an excellent stay here for a couple of days in Aug. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is amazing. The house is beautiful inside, very cosy with individually styled bedrooms. It’s in a convenient location for Dartmoor, Plymouth and Tavistock, we even drove to some beaches in Cornwall. We will definitely return.

We stayed one night, just cycling through. It has new owners who were very friendly. The place is lovely, a nice garden to sit in the summer, very quiet and peaceful and a lovely interior. It was a big breakfast. We paid £110, for not the biggest twin room by any means, but the room was very well appointed and the coffee bags and biscuits a nice touch.

Lovely self catering converted barn The Hayloft fully equipped for your stay. Had best night's sleep. Local shops and good pub within walking distance and great cycling routes on the doorstep . The hosts were very welcoming and informative about the area. It was a lovely relaxing break. You will not be disappointed.

Lovely two night stay in room 5. This lovely hotel has had a full refurb and it's so fresh and modern. Top tip - make sure you pop into to the downstairs bathroom - the wall paper is just divine. ||Nicky has got such an idea for detail and the breakfast was perfect. ||I have a tomato allergy and am always worried. No worries at all here. She catered perfectly for me .

What a wonderful place to stay, your host Nicky is a delightful lady, and makes you most welcome! Our room was on the small side, but most comfortable and quiet! Excellent choice for breakfast, try her fruit salad, highly recommended !! You will not be disappointed, the little village has good shops, a fuel station and the "Rock Inn" pub serves great food. Five stars 👍
