Hartland Plant Centre is also a farm / vegetable shop. It has been a Godsend to myself and many locals since the first lockdown. Lovely fresh vegetables; good selection including local produce like leeks, cabbage, cauliflower and my favourite, purple sprouting and local Asparagus in season.
Fresh fruit too, along with really nice pickles (shallots, onions, red cabbage and beetroot, all yummy).
Jams and cakes complement a nice selection of country fare. Fresh local free range eggs too.
Good selection of wild bird seeds, loose or in large bags.
They even have feed for horses and chickens.
Plus, of course, in the season a great selection of nursery plants and shrubs for your garden.
Known for their brilliant, home crafted hanging baskets.
So much more than a plant centre today!

Good selection of plants and compost at good prices. The veg looks fresh and appealing. Some garden ornaments and plant pots too. The owner's very friendly and you aren't rushed.

Hartlands Plant Centre, have been supplying myself, my garden and kitchen for years. Paul is a very helpful chap and there’s always plenty of seasonal choice of fresh organic food and great plants and flowers, at very good prices. Would highly recommend this farm store. I have been a Customer for quite a few years. The plants and hanging baskets are all so beaut.
I like to support Heartlands as they work so hard all year round to produce their own plants.
Cannot wait to be able to go and buy my usual array of fantastic plants after all the terrible time we are all facing

Hartlands Plant Centre has a great range of seasonal plants and has recently added equine feeds, chicken feeds plus hay and straw. Winter hours vary so if planning a trip call ahead.
