😊: Close to the centre. Room clean, bed comfortable.
😢: The Tv doesn't work. New antenna cable, but there's no channels. WiFi was too weak for watch on demand, so I used my hot spot. All rooms, including floor, walls, bedding, should be updated. Small things, like door handle, bathroom lock, really bad toilet flush could be done with zero effort, but they are broken. Good handyman can put this B&B to level higher.

Haven House is budget room only accomodation. For our £ 55 we had a perfectly clean large room. One double bed and one single. Small fridge in the
room. Microwave cutlery and plates available. 2 shared bathrooms, one with a bath with shower above. Very dog friendly which suits our needs perfectly.
2 minutes walk to the promenade.
10 minutes walk to the centre of Largs.
Morrisons around the corner. Marie is very pleasant to deal with. Yesterday was our 3rd stay... enough said

The general state of the house is it needs a total overhaul it looks like it was furnished from a charity shop and needs total decoration . The accommodation is on the first floor and in the attic so if you have trouble with stairs and mobility (like my mum who has Parkinson’s) then you’ll struggle as the stairs are very steep and twist as you get to the top making it narrow and steep. The rooms are in need of total renovation decor furniture carpets all look like they are from 1980s , so did the bed linen if I’m honest! There are 2 bathrooms on the first landing both are in need of modernisation (I actually didn’t use the shower and waited til I got home) one of our party used it and it wasn’t good , took 5 mins of messing with controls to get it to some kind of useable temperature . I hate to be absolutely negative so here’s the positives …. |There is a small bar fridge in each room which was very handy, it wasn’t expensive (thankfully) and Largs is a nice place . |All in all I wouldn’t stay there again unless it had a complete refit .

The beds were rock hard and the bed linen looked about 20 years old the shower was not clean and the water ran cold the decor was beyond dated it looked like a 70s throwback the towels were very old and like cardboard al in all I would not stay here and there was no value for money have stayed in much better accom for the same if not cheaper . I would have left 0 stars on my review if that was an option .

Booked a 4 night stay, arrived and was met by Marie, if everybody was as lovely and welcoming as Marie, the world would be a better place! Marie explained the policy ( in where she is very relaxed and doesn't restrict you even remotely ) and showed me to my Room. The room itself was large, clean and tidy. Kettle, Sink, TV and Mini Fridge, Clean cutlery and cups sitting there as well if you fancied a Coffee! Cleaners were in every morning and asking if you needed anything, kept the place spotless. I'd recommend Marie's B & B to anybody.

Brilliant accommodation- will definitely stay again. Great location, near the seafront and centre of town, just removed enough to be quiet. Lovely garden at front and super friendly service. Clean and cosy. A+
