A large park with the river Tweed running through it. There a free car park across from it. Mr Dog loved it plenty of space to run and he loved the river. We walked the loop past Neidpath Castle , across the bridge and down the other side. It's a lovely peaceful walk, a variety of summer flowers in bloom and great views of the castle. I would recommend walking boots and I was glad had a walking pole because some of ground had lots of tree roots and rocks. The locals are friendly, just about everyone you meet speaks and many stop for a chat. If you are feeling brave you can walk through the old railway tunnel.

Absolutely beautiful park. We are on holiday in the area and we've noticed all the green spaces we've seen whether big or small puts our area of South Manchester to shame.
Credit to the people in Scotland who maintain them.

I walk my dog here every day. It's a wonderful open area bounded on the south by the River Tweed. It also has a great children's play area. With many trees in the Park it's a fabulous place to walk through in the autumn. It also hosts many events throughout the year including car rallies, highland games etc.

Pleasant park with the river Tweed running peacefully through it. Small swing park, nice paved paths for walking, running, prams etc, as well as more of the beaten track routes to Neidpath Castle, the viaduct and round the loop.

Did the park run here with one of my dogs and then went for an explore afterwards with all three. Some very accessible walks both around the park and the surrounding woodland.

My friend and I took her little boy to the park. We had a great experience. The park was clean and tidy. The rides in the playpark were well maintained and non of them were broken. There was a bend in the outer barrier, where it looked like something had crashed into it. Not very well taped off. A child could easy hurt themselves on it. But we had a great time. The range of rides is good.

Lovely park with kids of nice walks. You can also follow path at end of park up along tweed, past neidpath castle, then across old viaduct and back to haylodge in other side of tweed. Lovely. There is also an old abandoned railway tunnel that you can really through... If your brave enough.
