I stayed here with three female friends and we had a very enjoyable experience. It's a lovely old-fashioned house and the owners were very kind, I really felt they wanted us to have a comfortable stay. Some of the reviews I read before coming were, I felt, rather unfair. Yes, this is a bit 'dated', but it's an old house!! It provided everything we wanted, comfortable beds, a nice bathroom, coffee/tea facilities, a good cooked breakfast, parking for our cars and an easy walk into the charming town of Corbridge with excellent shops and pubs/restaurants. I think it is excellent value for money.

By chance ended up staying at this quaint B+B within 5 minutes walking distance of the center of Corbridge.We had room 6 which was large with a big and comfy double bed + two singles. The ensuite bathroom had an adequate shower and plenty of hot water.There was also a pretty view down the garden. Breakfast was pleasant. The elderly couple running the business were very charming and I would happily stay in this 'old fashioned' house again. Although there is free Wifi it was on the slow side, good parking.

Enjoyed an overnight stay here with friends. Received a warm welcome by hosts. Our rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious with a beautiful view of the lawn and landscape. This is an old fashioned home which some people may not prefer, personally this didn't matter to me, I appreciate the character . Corbridge main street is just 10 minutes walk where you can find shops, pubs and restaurants. Beware youngsters who are in pursuit of takeaways. ... There is none !! Nearest is Hexham which I do not recommend. Other wise a very pleasant overnight stay.

This B&B is a beautiful old building set in gorgeous grounds. Our room was huge with a lovely view of the Tyne valley. The owner greeted us on arrival and was really friendly. The breakfast was lovely. We only stayed for 1 night as we were at a wedding close by. I wish we could have stayed longer!

I enjoyed the look of the country style home. Yes it was a little outdated, however, this gave it character. ||We didn't stay for breakfast as was up too early for a flight, but the gentleman own offered to leave something out which we declined. ||If you are looking for a bed, large spacious room and a bath, then this is just fine. There was no shower for the room we used (family rom).

Rooms were clean but a bit outdated, standard of the 1950s. We didn't have a shower but only a bathtub across the floor. Our disabled son (spastic paralysis on the right side) had problems with this very old-fashioned bath equipment. The house seems to be frequented by guests of 70 years and older. Breakfast is only served at 8:30 a.m. sharp. The price was rather inexpensive.

There's a lot of potential in this big old Victorian house, but it could do with a bit of a refresh. There's nothing all that terrible really - it just feels somewhat tired. That said, the breakfast was fine and the only really significant issues were a dearth of parking spaces and some rooms not having an en-suite bathroom. OK for a night or two, though.

we had booked one of the cottages on self catering basis .,we arrived late evening .||the greeting was very `swift and non descript , the property was dirty , very dirty , .||I spoke to the owner who argued with me about the state of the cottage and offered no solution to the fact it was dirty. we left as swiftly as we arrived., never to return.
