We booked the pods for our first holiday as a family. Myself my partner and our toddler and our family dog. Upon arrival we met Dan and Meg and had a lovely warm welcome and lots of useful information given to us. The pod was perfect for what we needed and the use of the big field really helped us tire out our dog and our toddler the play park being a short walk from the site was amazing and the pods were equipped with everything we could have possibly needed. They were warm and comfortable.
We will be back again!

I booked Hayton Hideaways back in 2022 for a present for a family member and they were so impressed ! Fast forward, myself and my partner had our holiday cancelled abroad so thought we would make up for it and take our 3 dogs on holiday. Coming from near St Andrews, Scotland - it was absolutely worth the travel and we can’t wait to book again. ||From arriving, Dan was quickly there with his four legged companion Meg who greeted us and explained how to work the hot tub ect. The pod was spotless and decorated for Easter, as well as little treat for our pups ! ||The pod had everything we needed and more, so close to shops if you forget anything as well as a walk from the local town where there is a pub and other things. Have to say, my highlight was the land next to us have Alpacas and some baby goats who were really friendly and curious, also not bothered about our 3 dogs. ||Meg herself deserves her own review, got myself a little friend over the weekend. Was there every morning to greet us, happy to play for hours with our dogs and I just wanted to take her home. ||Would recommend to anyone, dog owners, couples and families because it has everything. It was good to just escape into the countryside with all the animals around, the land was immaculate and loads of room for the dogs to roam. ||We cannot wait to book again, thank you so much Jo and Dan for having us - we certainly will be back !

We spent a lovely weekend here. The pods are lovely. There is everything you need. It is very comfortable and clean. The hosts leave you to it but are there if you need them. The location is perfect. A short walk to The Stone Inn in the village where the food and service is great! We will definitely be coming back!

We had the most fantastic weekend. We had a pod each. My son had the hottub pod. The site provided us with a bbq and logs for the fire. There is a pub five mins, lovely walk past the park. The pods are spacious and exceptionally clean and well looked after. They meet all your needs and come with everything you should require for cooking and sleeping. The host is very friendly and Meg the dog comes over to play 💕. Had the best time. Since our stay our family have booked and our friends are currently staying. It’s a must! Very relaxing, comfortable and a great location x

We've just had another fabulous weekend at our favourite place, Hayton Hideaways. Thankyou Jo n Dan, spotlessly clean as usual. Breakfast hamper was fab too. Not in our usual pod but the smaller pod didn't disappoint, just as comfortable as the bigger ones, the sun room on the front was a winner. Thanks again Both, see you both in August. X

Well what can I say just returned from here, wow wow wow absolutely incredible, what an idyllic setting so peaceful. Stayed in white clough pod beautiful everything you want is there, spotless everywhere and the hosts are so friendly and if we needed anything they were on hand. Definitely highly recommend a stay here we will be returning in the near future and added bonus dog friendly to plenty of space for them to play.

We had an amazing couple of nights away at Hayton Hideaways. Our dog enjoyed meeting Meg and played well in the field with her.
Jo & Dan are extremely accommodating, nothing is too much trouble. They even sent a personal item back home to us after our stay, after accidentally leaving it behind.
Short walk to the local pub, lovely scenery. We can’t wait to visit again. Couldn’t recommend Hayton Hideaways enough, Thank you!

Just returned from another amazing stay. Went with family who came up from Southend as we recommended it to them,they were unsure but came up and couldn’t believe how beautiful and the cleanliness of the pods and views all around,they’ve already booked to return next year.
Pods are immaculate as always,also had decorated our pod for our wedding anniversary,Jo.s mum also baked us a the most delicious sponge cake,it was as light as a feather.
Jo and Dan are the most amazing friendly hosts and nothing is any trouble for them,
They also surprised us by keeping secret that our friends we met last year,also came up to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
Jo had booked us all in at the stone inn for a lovely bar meal,it is dog friendly and couldn’t do enough for the staff were amazing and sent up a bottle of bubbly to celebrate.
So thank you so much to Jo and Dan and can’t wait to return in the near future.
