Don't book this hotel through Agoda, They aren't taking paying guest, Agoda won't give you your money back without a fight. Absolute Nightmare....Why the hotel are still allowing bookings through the booking sites I don't know, you can't book through the hotel website, someone hasn't ticked a box somewhere and we are paying for it ?

Booked this hotel through a booking agent, when we arrived at the hotel reception and said we had a booking, receptionist straight away said we have no bookings didn’t even look at a computer or anything, then we were asked if we were sent by the local council? As they were only taking homeless, this then transpired to him telling us that the hotel was full, had no alternative or anything for us other then they had no bookings….||Do not use this hotel or the booking agent agoda.com

Stayed here a little while ago with my family for a week after a house flood.
Hotel manager gave us the little cottage out the back self contained, as is was free and available. Instead of two rooms. Also got two travel cots and put them in for me for my twins. The staff were extremely polite, helpful and informative on the food times and anything else we asked for or needed.

There is a 50/50 chance (last year I booked here to) that you will be moved to their sister location 1 HOUR walk away! When this is brought up they just shrugged their shoulders and said get a taxi or a bus.||Last year this hotel was alright but I have to say about my time this year because they may turn around 3 hours before check in and say you’re being moved and you have no say. ||The other room was fine until I looked in the bathroom. The vinyl was ripped and the flooring raised. The toilet seat was off and to the side (plus no toilet brush). When I told reception the guy said “it’s fine we’ve known about it for weeks. Don’t worry a plumber is coming tomorrow morning to fix the tap”. There was no issue with the tap so I have no idea what he was talking about. When I asked about a time it was like he pulled it out his bum! “11am” so I said “guess I have to be out my room by 10-11” and he kinda just agreed with me. Now the weekend is over and I am home I can say there was no plumber in my room as NOTHING changed. Someone did come in to empty the bin and put new milk, coffee and sugar out. My friend also had his bed made for him. So take that as either creepy or nice. ||Last year other than the hotel needing a proper clean (it was hoovered, dusted and clean bedding just not in all the cracks). But the bathroom was alright as far as I’m aware. ||TL;DR 50/50 you’ll stay here or at their sister location. This hotel is decent. The sister one is a dice roll on whether the room will be damaged or not.

Very strange ‘hotel’ that had more of a hostel feel to it. ID is required and you have to hand in your room key when you go out. Room was clean and tidy. Receptionist was friendly. Cheap but we’ll not be returning.

I stayed at this hotel for one night as a lone traveller and my dog. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms and hotels were cleaned to a high standard. The stay was made by meeting Dawn, she was so warm, friendly and welcoming and made me feel safe and looked after since I was on my own. She literally couldn't have done any more to help me and my dog out. Thank you so much for the giggles too.

Booked a room 3 weeks in advance for my grandchildren christening, only to be told the night before we travel that the hotel have cancelled our room.||I telephoned to ask why and they told me that no rooms were available. No alternative accommodation or compensation was offered... very poor and distressing, and less than 20 hours to find somewhere else!||Stay clear of this hotel as they are unreliable.
