Our overnight stay at Heath House suited us perfectly. We were travelling with two dogs and needed to break our journey from Scotland to Surrey. The house is Victorian with many original features. Jo was a perfect host and welcomed us and the dogs. Jo booked as dinner at a local pub restaurant and the food was superb. The Continental breakfast was excellent.

Absolutely fabulous overnight stay, Jo is a superb host unlike any myself and husband have encountered previously.
The house has bags of charm and character, our bedroom was very spacious with a lovely large bed and bathroom all of which was well presented and exceptionally clean.
Our breakfast was just wonderful, honestly we felt as though we were Jo’s personal guests, everything was fresh and honestly delicious and nothing was too much trouble, the poached eggs were the best we have tasted anywhere and had been collected fresh from the back garden. Jo was also able to cater for my gluten intolerance last minute as I had neglected to mention it upon booking which I was very grateful for.
From our arrival to our departure there was simply nothing to fault, the house is a rare gem steeped in history and stories and we were lucky enough to hear some of them over breakfast.
Do not hesitate to book a stay at Heath House you will not be disappointed, we are both already looking forward to the next family occasion so we can book in again!

We had a lovely night stay here and would love to stay again. Jo, the owner was warm and welcoming from the beginning and we enjoyed talking with her. Our little dogs loved their stay too! It is a beautiful property and is looked after and maintained to a high standard. It is quite a handy location for day trips in and around Yorkshire, although there's not much to do locally. We did find an excellent pub restaurant down the road called the Mews.||The room we stayed at in Heath House was very spacious and comfortable. We loved the old-fashioned periodic decor, it added to the touch. There were tea and coffee facilities (but no biscuits, I'm rather greedy!). The bed is very large and extremely comfortable. Jo's breakfast in the morning was superb! I had a hot cooked breakfast (minus the meat), the poached eggs were divine and the yolk cooked to perfection. We were really impressed with the breakfast and can't fault it. We wouldn't hesitate in staying here again.

What a beautiful find! I was sold when I was told breakfast was included - and the fact the eggs were from their own hens 🐣 above and beyond with the service. A good nights sleep and the room was just perfect. Very spacious bed and big enough own suit bathroom. Would love to return again in the future. Made to feel very welcomed

Stayed for a weekend in July. The landlady/lord are lovely - very friendly and helpful. Our room (No4) backed onto their enormous garden at the rear. Very clean and comfortable with en suite bath/shower. Plenty of parking at the front, which is at the end of a long drive from the road - so no traffic noise. Breakfast was excellent - served at a large communal dining table in the main hallway - great for getting to know other residents. Entry out of hours was via front door with code - very accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay & have booked again in November. Only issue was that the WiFi was very slow in the room - better downstairs - the owners have tried/are trying to get it improved.

I stayed at Heath House for one night in July. It's a beautiful B&B and home in pleasant surroundings. The owner Jo is a lovely lady and very welcoming. I was fairly hungry after my five hour drive and she pointed me in the direction of a nice pub / restaurant nearby, she even drew me a map. The room was perfectly clean and comfortable with everything I needed. I had a comfortable nights sleep and the freshly cooked to order breakfast in the morning was awesome. I would certainly stay here again if I'm in the area and recommend you do the same.

Really enjoyed our stay at Heath House, we were made to feel very welcome and so were our 2 dogs. Lovely room, fabulous house and beautiful gardens and area for dogs to run free! Couldn't fault the breakfast or Jo's hospitality. All in all I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast experience to anyone.

Jo and her husband are the perfect hostess and host. Excellent recomendations for time out and about, restaurants etc...
Also we had a perfect breakfast which set us up for the day out.
Easily recommended as a perfect springboard for travel in the South/Western region of Yorkshire.
