What a treasure, great stay with a very warm welcome from our lovely host Angela. Great breakfast and comfy spacious rooms. superb views and the birds were a treat too, Ideal location for Dartmoor travel and the local village is very close by with good pubs for evening meals, The Peter Tavy is excellent and so is the Castle Inn for alfresco dining. We loved staying with you, Thankyou.

My teenage son and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Angela's beautiful home. Angela was very friendly and hospitable and flexible with our arrival and departure times. The breakfast was lovely. My son said it tasted 'lovely and natural'. The bedroom was spacious and immaculately clean, as was the bathroom. My son and i both loved the spacious and comfortable bath after 10 Tors challenge weekend! The beds were very comfortable and views were so tranquil. The garden which you could walk around and sit in was also a wonderful bonus. We both had a very relaxing nights sleep, as did our dog who seemed totally at home during our stay. Highly recommended. Thank you to Angela and family.

Wonderful place. Tucked away down a private farm lane a few minutes from Lydford. Lovely room, comfy bed, great bathroom and an absolutely brilliant breakfast. Host Angela is wonderful and very attentive. Dartmoor 5 min drive away, Lydford Gorge, Church, Castle, Pub etc 5 mins drive too but a bit of a walk. Can't recommend highly enough, 6 stars really isn't enough.

A most welcoming and accommodating host Angela. ||Very comfortable and super clean with an excellent breakfast. ||A lovely rural peaceful setting with wide vistas. Ducks, peacocks and a friendly cat. ||Stayed in two double rooms with all facilities. thoroughly recommended.

Stayed in large double room on first floor, huge bathroom with lots of extra toiletries to use. Nice views . Comfy bed and pillows. Angela is incredibly hard working and friendly and excellent communication before arrival. Breakfast very good. Shame the parking is not better, a bit of a squeeze to get 2 cars on the parking area, all 3 rooms were occupied when we were there. Nice area to visit and good local pubs

What a wonderfully friendly and welcoming lady Angela is. We had a superbly peaceful stay. Lovely room, with a fabulous new bathroom. I loved seeing cattle out of the bedroom window! Lovely breakfast. Angela is a brilliant host. Highly recommended thank you.

It was a lovely place. The host was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb, all anyone could possibly want. The room was fine with an exceptionally large bathroom and shower and very clean. It was very convenient
for Dartmoir itself with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.
