We thought we'd give this place a go as we're passing on a cold drizzly November lunchtime. It was quite busy, but we managed to find a table. Service was slower than we anticipated. Drinks were excellent, especially the coffee. Food was nice. It's a small place with the toilets outside around the rear of the building. During our visit the front door was left open for an extended period making it uncomfortable. Someone did try and shut it, but was advised that it wouldn't be long, but it remained open some time. Judging by the number of people being turned away it can get occasionally busy.

What a lovely family run tea room / Cafe, nice decor, friendly well respected staff, saw a little girl specially bring in a drawing for the obviously much loved owner.
Great prices for extremely good quality food, a very healthy breakfast as hardly any fat used during cooking.
For a very small price I upgraded to a hot chocolate with cream instead of having the tea or coffee included in the Breakfast price.
Also get a proper milky milkshake, not that thick ice cream mix that a lot of places serve, can have cream on top if you want it.
If you want nice crispy chips or Hash Brown just ask and that will be done for you.

Went here on 14th of Jan 2025 staff very friendly full english breakfast was spot on and yummy. My Daughter had a toasty and she loved it too. This was my first visit and deffo going back to this clean friendly with good food place.

Cappuccino in here is gorgeous, they do pancakes with fruit but I asked if they'd do it with bacon and eggs for me and it was such a treat, thankyou it made my day ♥️

Lovely lunch , enjoyed the avocado and feta cheese and the baccon egg sandwich. All well presented, service charming. The interior is clean nicely decorated, evidence of good hygiene rating. Toilets via outside ( can not be helped geographically) again , clean , large sink and satisfactory.

I've enjoyed many breakfasts here. Can recommend. Only 9 tables, with good turnover, this is a small nicely styled family-run cafe that also does excellent cakes. They keep the breakfast menu simple with Full English and Large Full English, with excellent thick sliced wholemeal bread available.
