We stayed with my friend for a weekend. It is an amazing house on the main street, 2 mins walk from tesco and shops. We had a nice room on the ground floor. The homemade English breakfast was included and we really enoyed our stay. The room was clean and nicely decorated and very nice shower room for us on the same floor. I also found the book I was looking for, thsnk you so much!

We, as a party of 4, stayed in the Hedges B&B between September 11-13th. It was for a cycling trip around this beautiful island, which should be on every keen cyclist's bucket list. ||||We stayed in two twin rooms. The rooms were very clean and airy, beds were very comfortable and the bathroom suites and toilets which are located outside the rooms, were kept clean and tidy.||||Anita, the host has extremely been helpful and friendly. She made us feel at home. She also arranged a secure store for our bikes before our arrival. ||||Anita serves full English breakfast, cereals, granola and caters for whatever you need.||||The B&B is located near two lovely pubs down the hill and is in just a short walking distance to a well stocked Tesco store.||||Overall we were quite happy with our staying. Thanks to Anita's big welcoming from the start.||||Wootton Bridge is just on the Randonnee route and is about 4 miles from the Ryde Pier, which is about 20 minutes away on the saddle. We took the fast cat ferry from Portsmouth and return. The ferry is actually a big catamaran and has a special bike area for 20.

We stayed here towards the end of July and felt very safe due to Covid-19. We had a lovely room very clean ,the bathrooms were clean and all was excellent during this uncertain time. We would recommend this B & B to anyone wanting to stay on the Island. The host was brilliant and nothing was too much for her, keeping all safe and respecting social distancing. We would defiantly have no regrets in staying there again.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Very clean, lovely breakfast and an outstanding service from Anita, nothing is too much trouble for this lovely lady. Very reasonably priced and made to feel very welcome and at at home from the booking process until the very end of our stay, which Anita drove us to our Family as it was raining and even came back and gave us a lift to the ferry port in Ryde, now that was such a lovely a lovely gesture, thankyou so much Anita.

Super comfy bed, great full English breakfast, nice hot shower. Contacted Anita late on Friday night when camping at Kite Hill was a complete disaster. Anita was polite, professional, and very accommodating. I couldn’t have asked for better service. An excellent overall experience and I would most definitely stay here again. 🛵💨

I stayed here in a twin room with a friend. The rooms were clean as was the bathroom (not ensuite). Breakfast was good too. Main highlight was Anita who was a wonderful host, helping us find bikes and also dropping us off to the bike store!

Stayed at this fine B&B with 2 colleagues for 4 nights. Very clean bedrooms with comfy beds, more than adequate bathroom with both shower & bath , a nice lounge area to unwind and a great choice of breakfast. A very welcoming knowledgable landlady, plenty of choices locally to source & evening meal. |Would book again, fully recommend 👍

We decided on a last minute trip to IOW, as we had both never been. It happened to be on a bank holiday and half term weekend and we did not book in advance, as you can imagine there was not much availability.
Thank goodness for Anita! She luckily had a cancellation, so she was able to accommodate us last minute.
If you are looking for a home from home. Hedges is for you. It's so homely and most importantly clean! The sheets were fresh, the bathroom had a lovely hot shower with essentials like soaps and shampoo if you needed it. The rooms were spacious and had a kettle and tea if you had a craving in the night. The most desirable feature was the full English breakfast! If you have dietary requirements, she's very accommodating. Another guest had wheat/gluten free bread and a boiled egg. We actually ended up staying the whole weekend since it was so lovely. Anita is also really knowledgable about the island, so was able to give us recommendations of where to go that we would have never known about as tourists on the island. Thank you Anita. Next time we come to the IOW we will certainly be returning to Hedges. Clare and Hugh.
