Helena's bed and breakfasts is a very warm, tidy and clean guesthouse near two main bus stops(with frequent buses)with easy access to two tube stations[one is named Elephant&Castle, the other is London Bridge Station] in zone 2 in London.
we enjoyed a joyful 2-week stay with Helena and thanks to the generous & always fresh, and satisfying breakfast, which always made a good start for our everyday trip.
And Of course we will come visit again and recommend here to our good friends to stay when visiting in London!

I stayed here for a night with friends from Germany. Wasn't expecting a lot but couldn't have been more wrong. ||Nice and cosy room with a comfortable bed, well lit and above all quiet. 2 good shower rooms down the corridor. The owner, a very pleasant Polish lady was on hand to give advice and help.||The breakfast was staggering. Really one of the best I've had in a B and B in England, with the highlight being a freshly made, fresh fruit salad. We could eat as much as we liked. Fresh croissants were also served, as was good coffee, cereals and OJ. I don't happen to like fryups but I'm sure they are also available.||The B and B is located in a wide, tree lined road, with ample parking. The surrounding area is interesting as Peckham is on the way up .. Albeit slowly. My only reservation would be walking around late at night, at weekends. We did though, felt quite safe but were happy to get back to the B and B.||If you have business in South London, this place comes highly recommended.

Beds are really comfortable.|Breakfast was great, and a good start for a long day of walking around in London.|In addition WiFi is good, and it is only 400m to the Peckham Rye station. |Must see's: Skygarden, Maltby street foodmarket, Kew gardens, lunch @ Sketch

I stayed at Helena’s for 2 nights when I ran the London Marathon . The beds were sooooo comfortable! Helena made us a fantastic breakfast too. The location was perfect as so close to the bus, tube and train stations. I will definitely stay again.

A very cheerful welcome by lovely, helpful, kind people. Helena and Jessica are doing a fab job and we loved the little room we stayed in. The breakfast was a delight, all that fresh food and the toast and choice of tea or coffee and all that was needed. We may well stay there again, if we manage to save up pennies for a further trip to London- the most exciting city with the loveliest people.
Peckham is interesting.... very multiculti and absolutely fine!

The service, right from booking was good. On arrival, reception was very warm and welcoming with the charming smile of Madam Helena. The room was clean and well set out with good simple decors. The breakfast provided an excellent but rich menu that is good to pep up the day!||That's a good find and a place to always be when in London due to proximity to transport, Shopping, and commercial activities.........various banks close by.||Great B n B!

Be aware!! Not everything is what it says on the tin!! Most comments are true. But,. If u book on a site you don't get a breakfast unless u pay extra. No facilities in the rooms and a poor TV and signal. We also got stung by misreading the booking. Helena was asking for more money. Be aware of room occupancy when you book. Never saw the lady. Only txt messages!! Otherwise clean and quiet.

I'm writing this review on behalf of my mum.
I give to Helena 3 stars only because of her kindness at the check in, the comfort of the mattress and for the abundant breakfast, however, you can have it only at 9.00 am, that is just ridiculous if you wake up early or you have appointments early in the morning.
Helena is not flexible on this, She asks when you want to have breakfast, whatever your say she is not keen to open the kitchen before 9.00 am.
The kitchen is locked all over the night and there is no change to get a glass of water rather than from the tap of the shared toilette.
The entire house is cold and I wasn't able to get a shower because the bathroom was freezing.
If you need anything during the night time you do not know where Helena is, it is like she disappears. This is the second time we booked Helena' B&B, I hope this review will help her to to be more flexible.
