What a lovely dog friendly cafe. The food is delicious and very well presented. Service is excellent and the setting is beautiful. I had a cream tea, the scones were really fresh and warm and served with jam and cream. The toilets are also super clean and user friendly. It's a must if you are in the area!

Our third year visiting Santa's grotto which was the best yet, he was very witty and with extra activities available (Twelve Days of Christmas Trail plus more) it was a great afternoon.
Prior to Santa we had a festive lunch of bacon, brie and cranberry and a turkey, stuffing, toasties, both very yummy, delivered promptly and the staff all having a jolly time.
Very comfy seating areas with plenty of space for little people / prams etc.
We will be back again soon!

What a massive disappointment. Went last year and it was brilliant and that’s why we decided to come back again but an absolute letdown from the start. Father Christmas was amazing again but the grotto was outside this time and it was so cold but I think the biggest letdown was the staff and the cafe. The staff obviously didn’t want to be there. The food portions were so small the jacket potatoes were children’s sizes and to top it all off, they turn the heating off while we were eating and are two small children started to complain about being cold. Won’t be going back again

This was a great find... even though ot felt we were entering a private party to start with!! Some signage might be good.

Great food at reasonable prices and lots of places to sit inside, outside on hardstanding or on the lawn. Great views.

Friendly and attentive staff.

Went for the afternoon tea today and absolutely loved it! Everything we ate was delicious (the wild boar sausage rolls and lemon posset were particular favourites on our table!) and perfectly portioned. We've been for lunch/tea and cake a number of times and it is always fantastic. If you're in the area, definitely stop in!
