Herb Cottage is an extremely welcoming place. Suzanne is a lovely host, and has a wonderful friendly manner. She gave us good advice on where to visit and to eat in the evening. The room was bright and the bed was comfy. Please book dinner at Ravello's in Bradford on Avon as recommended by Suzanne, it was lovely. Breakfasts were hearty, including various homemade fruit combos and yoghurt. We were even given a plant cutting from the garden on our departure..

Herb Cottage is located in quiet, open countryside a short drive to the north of Bradford On Avon and is a perfect base for exploring the area. The property is full of character and the guest rooms are clean and comfortable with efficient heating if required. |Suzanne is a delightful host who makes her guests feel very welcome and produces a delicious breakfast. It was nice to chat over tea and biscuits after we had unpacked, her local knowledge and advice being most welcome to hear. A guest book in the hall shows that Suzanne has entertained guests from around the world who overwhelmingly comment positively on the quality of their stays.

Suzanne goes above and beyond expectations to provide comfort, relaxation and excellent breakfasts, along with good recommendations on places to visit, a super host indeed. We had such an enjoyable three night stay at Herb Cottage (which felt like a country retreat) it was hard to leave.

Such a lovely location, and our host, Suzanne, was so lovely and friendly. The breakfasts cooked by Suzanne were so tasty and filling. Our bedroom at the front overlooked the garden, and each morning were treated to the “dawn chorus” of blackbirds. This bedroom of two single beds was large with a large en-suite bathroom. We would fully recommend this accommodation for the homely feel, wonderful host and great location for sightseeing.

Herb Cottage is a great base for exploring Bradford on Avon, Bath and the surrounding area. Lying just off the B3109, it's easy to find, although the cottage nestles at the end of an unmade track and you need to take great care for the last 150m. On arrival you'll find plenty of parking before approaching the B&B along a winding path through the very pretty garden. Suzanne offers the warmest of welcomes and takes great care of her guests. ||Both bedrooms are on the first floor. The double room at the back of the property overlooks a pasture (see photo) where cattle and calves were grazing during our stay. An idyllic backdrop, but very much working farmland. The twin room with its larger bathroom overlooks the garden at the front of the house. Both were extremely comfortable and nothing was too much trouble for our delightful host.||Suzanne offers delicious options for breakfast including home-made marmalade and compote (quince and apple became a firm favourite during our 5 night stay). Would we return? Absolutely!!
