It's a tough one...I was placed here while awaiting my own place to be allocated. Was hard to sleep at night especially at weekends as it's also an Indian restaurant. I don't believe the take bookings from the gen pop. Don't get me wrong, I was greatful for a warm room and a roof over my head, other "guests" were using the fire escape as a way to get in and out of the hotel after hours (had to be in by midnight...I'm guessing if you were not you'd turn into a pumpkin). Very greatful for the time I was here but I can't recommend it to others, sorry.

Excellent food and lovely, caring staff. Didn't stay at Hotel as I live locally but if the dining is anything to go by I bet it's wonderful.
Hats off to the manager who is doing an amazing job in the face of hard times right now.

Stayed with The Heritage for a month due to homelessness and can honestly say it’s been brilliant... but if you are expecting a flashy, perfectly presented, all frills place, book elsewhere! ||||Staff have been wonderful, rooms have been well presented and useable. Yes, the bedrooms and bathrooms could have been cleaner, yes I could make digs about small meaningless things, but if you’re looking for a clean bed, facilities to wash yourself, a working tellie and kettle, somewhere to hang your clothes, eat food and privacy, this is your place! No frills, nothing special, but all basic requirements met and I’m pleased to confirm, despite previous reviews, we’ve not seen one bed bug in five weeks!||||Be warned that the rooms do smell like the downstairs curry house... didn’t bother us but I know it would some people. ||||The best asset in the place is the staff. Martin and Samita have been welcoming, helpful, friendly and accommodating, both full of smiles and daily well-wishes. Previous reviews have mentioned rudeness... I’m not sure why as we have been treated with nothing but respect. I’m thinking some people expect staff to be slaves when staying at hotels, but if you, like me, just want a friendly face and pleasant small talk, then you’re in business here. You carry your own bags and find your own way to your room, but you are left alone without bother, which is great if you like privacy like we do. We’re very much do-it-yourself people so The Heritage served us perfectly. ||||Walls are thin, fire alarm goes off late at night sometimes from the kitchen below, guests can be noisy and sometimes this can go on until 11:30pm... but who cares? First world problems. This is the kind of place this is. Do not expect more or less. Warm bed, hot shower, TV and kettle, basic needs met, what more can I say? ||||You pay for what you get here, make no mistake, but it is not like this is the hotel from hell, it is what it is and is perfectly comfortable for a budget night or two. We’ve managed a month here with little to nothing to complain about, I think there has been significant changes since the previous reviews and can honestly say we’ve been happy staying here. ||||We’ve enjoyed our five week stay, it has served us well and we’ve been treated fantastically. Thank you Martin & Samita, you’ve been wonderful and we are so grateful for your hospitality 😊

Positive attitude. Nice staff, warm and welcoming. Catered for all my requirements, room nice and clean can't complain for the price.

Location a little out than actual centre where relatives stay.

If breakfast was provided it would have been much better. First breakfast was confirmed when we got there got told no breakfast thereafter.

I would not hesitate to stay again if need be, ideally would book a hotel which provides breakfast.

A group of us on motorcycles stayed over for a night to break a long journey North. This Hotel is ideal for a budget stay over. The rooms though basic were clean and comfortable. There is a car park to the rear which appears relatively safe for parking the bikes. Attached to the Hotel is a fantastic Indian restaurant where the food and service is great and the prices are good. We had a slight issue with our booking arrangement and Jay the owner made a special trip in out of hours to help us sort the issue with the booking agent. What a great Guy fantastically helpful and a real gent. If you are looking for a good value stay over with a great Indian cuisine and safe parking for your bike the Heritage Hotel is ideal. We plan to stay again on our next trip through. Once again a big thank you to Jay for the support and help. Great Stay😀👍

The room was fine and spacious for 4, the beds comfy , plush pillows. Had a very nice full english breakfast with attentive service that just kept it coming! Had a good chat with the chap who served who was a very interesting guy to talk to. No complaints.

Stayed here twice now and have booked a third time. It's not the Ritz or the Dorchester - but what do you expect from their very reasonable room tariff...?!?||||There's plenty of free parking, it's in a nice, safe area, Sam and Jay are lovely helpful owners - nothing is too much trouble. It's great value for money - bed was comfortable - room was warm, shower was hot. That's all I really need...!||||Tea and coffee making facilities are in rooms - together with a small flatscreen TV.||||There's a great value Indian restaurant attached to the hotel - The Cardamom Lounge. The same restaurant is used to serve breakfast the next morning (has to be booked - not automatically included). If you don't fancy that, there's a good pub less than 5 minutes walk away, right next to Narborough Railway Station.||||If you expect 4 or 5 star luxury for a budget price - then this may not be the hotel for you. If you like good, honest value for money from a very friendly family-run hotel - book immediately...!
