We have just returned from a fabulous 8 night break. Mark and Diane were very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was a bother to them. The site is lovely and very well kept. The lodge itself was extremely clean, cosy and well equipped. The hot tub was amazing, my eldest son enjoyed it so much and didn't want to leave. The location is perfect for peace and relaxation, and not to far from the sights of York. We can't wait to return. Thank you.

We have just spent the past week at the lodges and we had 2 of them. Diane and Mark are fabulous hosts and can't do enough to make the time spent there enjoyable. The lodges were spotless and had everything you need. We loved the hot tubs and really enjoyed our special family time there. They are so central to so many different places. Would highly recommend . Had a wonderful time

Just arrived home from a 3 nights stay at Herrington Park and will definitely be returning!! ||||The log cabin was spotless, the location was peaceful and the private hot tub was luxury! We were greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine which was a really nice touch, and Dianne and Mark were really friendly and always on hand if needed. ||||The location is ideal for visiting York and all local attractions and we were spoilt with the dry weather so really made the most of it. ||||Will definitely recommend and will definitely be returning. Well worth the money and a real treat for a special occasion. ||||Debs, Keith, Mags and Jacob.

Just back home from a fabulous weeks stay at Herrington Park and will definitely visit again. Mark & Diane are wonderful hosts and the site is a credit to them. We have never stayed anywhere as peaceful, relaxing & tranquil, most of the log cabins were occupied but we never heard a sound it was pure bliss. The lodges are spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We used the hot tub every day and it was superb again spotlessly clean and lovely and hot. The lodges are very well equipped with everything you need for a great holiday. Sutton on Derwent is a lovely village with a good general store and a great pub the St Vincent Arms which serves fantastic meals, best to book a table as it gets busy. Herrington Park is well placed to visit York, Scarborough and The Wolds. If you enjoy peace & quiet in beautiful surrounding this is a great place to visit. Lodges are very private on lovely big plots, can’t praise this site enough it’s wonderful.

We spent a week here in August and thoroughly enjoyed it. Mark and Diane were very helpful and friendly. We were particularly impressed that the lodges were only let every other week and deep cleaned during the ‘off’ week which gave us peace of mind during this virus. ||The lodge was very clean, had everything you would need for a stay and was ideal for 5 people. I have stayed in a lot of different lodges and never had one that was as private or with as much ground around it as this one. This meant we were not overlooked in the hot tub or on the decking. ||Plenty places to eat nearby, lovely walks from the village or within a short drive, and York is easy to get to. ||I definitely would recommend a holiday here, especially if you are looking for a quiet, well run park.

Nice, well kept cabins each on its own pitch with high hedges to provide privacy. Hot tub was very good and maintained daily. Nice area of the country if you're looking for somewhere as little quieter but only 20-30 minutes away from York.

Just returned from our second visit to the park. Our first visit was for our mini moon and we loved it so much we brought the children back with us this time. Again another lovely greeting from Diane and Mark and a bottle of wine chilling in the fridge! Lovely little touch. We had the most relaxing week we just love this place. We stayed in lodge 4 which was absolutely immaculate with everything imaginable needed for our stay. Kids loved the hot tub and it was so clean and well kept. We hope to be visiting for a third time sometime soon! Thank you for a wonderful family holiday. We will be again recommending to anyone who asks.

We absolutely loved this place! Stunning village, beautiful lodge that had all the little touches we hadnt thought of! We spent our Christmas here for 2018, four generations of 1 family ( aged 9 to 85 ) and every one of us had an xmas to remember. The hosts/ owners Diane & Mark were nothing but helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Really clean, well kept, loved the hot tub, its a 10/10 from us 🙂 cant wait to come back for another stay
