Its not "loaded fries" it's seasoned and sprinkled fries. Loaded usually have more toppings on the warrant the price but its was a few tiny bits of cheese splattered on and a splash of some bottled sauces. The seasoning you could smell was just raw spices that weren't cooked and tasted raw like out of the spice rack. They need cooking and drying into a proper "seasoning" powder. The recipe ideas are really good though if they cooked the seasoning properly and added enough toppings they would be onto something good.

We visited Hey Spud at the light show at Wrest Park, what a find!! My dad is coeliac and never gets to enjoy delicious food when at events, as good gluten free is very hard to come by. We had the pork loaded fries and they were absolutely delicious!! Well done guys keep up the hard work, amazing food and very very lovely people too x

Hey Spud catered for 50 guests (kids and adults) at my husband’s 40th birthday party. Stephan and Lucy were helpful, calm and organised before the event and on the day itself, really added to the event’s relaxed and happy vibe with their warm and friendly service. The loaded fries went down a storm; crispy, tasty and lots of customisable options. I wouldn’t hesitate to book them again or recommend to others. Thank you, Hey Spud!

The Hey Spud team are absolutely awesome!! We had the team provide food for my husbands 60th birthday party. Everyone loved the options and said how great the Loaded fries were. Guest were still talking about the food and how they li Ed it from the party in all our thank you messages received.

I would 100% recommend Hey Spud for any private functions or if you see them at food festivals, street markets please go and give them a try.

Stephan and Lucy are so professional, friendly and really made us feel special on the evening. The set up and pack down was flawless leaving my husband and I time to enjoy the party with our guests.

Thank guys, we will definitely be booking you again for our next party!!!

We hired Hey Spud for our daughters first birthday recently and I cannot recommend them highly enough. So professional, warm and the chips were honestly divine! They were received with so many compliments and it was simply perfect. Can’t wait to use you guys again in the future & thank you so much again. The chips are exceptional!! can’t get better and the prices are fair for the portion size.
Very tasty and well prepared, Choice of toppings is extensive and to a particularly high standard. Servers are also great and always efficient, happy and polite. Can’t wait to get some more and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for yummy chips! My fave is the Beef Chili!! -Skye
