Liked: What a fantastic find! An idyllic and well resourced campsite set in beautiful English countryside. Ellie was kind enough to tell us of 4 different walks to nearby villages and pubs. The campsite is small and discrete but had fantastic facilities- fridges, hot showers, toilets supplied with toilet rolls.we stayed in the safari tent, which was charming, comfortable and well resourced.

Disliked: There is nothing about this site to dislike.

This is a beautiful little campsite set in the heart of rural Leicestershire. The host, Ellie, is very helpful and did everything she could to make our stay perfect. The views are wonderful and there are some lovely walks you can do straight from the campsite. The toilets and showers are kept nice and clean. It is next to a working farm so expect some noise from that and it was a bit boggy due to the time of the year and clay soil. Fun little play park for the kids who loved our stay there too !

We had the most amazing stay in the Pheasant Safari tent. This was the first time glamping for us and it won’t be the last. Ellie was fantastic and a really genuine person… our son loved her… especially as she gave him a lift in her quad car (whilst asking a thousand questions). The safari tents are really well equipped and location is beautiful. A really relaxing stay… thank you!

Liked: Absolutely loved it. Peaceful country side with fabulous views. The site is small with around 14 very spacious pitches. Half of which have electric hookup. The facilities are two shower room with toilet and hand basin. Plus anothe loo. Also a small kitchen area where you can wash up also a shared fridge. Everywhere is spotless. Constant hot water. All the water is drinkable. Ellie is a lovely lady. Very friendly and helpful. It was perfect for taking our 6 yr old grandson for his first camping experience. We are already planning a return trip.

Disliked: Honestly. Nothing to dislike.

Liked: We stayed in the safari tent that was exceptional. We had strong winds during our stay but we're tucked up all cosy inside.

Fantastic dog walk set up around the site and facilities were spot on.

Liked: The site has beautiful views and is quiet, you really do feel like you've stepped back into nature with the sounds of nature. I loved the size of the pitches - big enough for a large tent and 2 cars. The owners were attentive and very helpful. The plots and toilets/washing area was always very clean and tidy. We didn't use the bbq as we had our own, but they offer bbq food and fuel packages which others enjoyed. I would definitely recommend and would return.

Disliked: Could probably do with having an additional toilet block (separate to showers), as during peak times we had to queue for a while to use the loo if someone was in the 2x showers. They do have an additional toilet, but could do with a couple more.

Liked: Fantastic little campsite set in a beautiful location overlooking rolling fields. Everything is immaculate and very easy.
Ellie is such a wonderful, friendly host and made us feel very welcome . We will definitely be back again soon

Liked: Everything!! Beautiful site, spacious pitches so you're not on top of other groups. Limited pitches but that's what we liked! Clean facilities, very friendly, loads for kids to explore, beautiful views and walking routes nearby. We travelled as two families and asked for pitches together which was provided. Warm welcome given along with tips of where to go. Will definitely be back - thank you hidden hideaway!
