I’d booked through the website so thought I was getting bed and breakfast. I didn’t realise that the website was way out of date. Therefore I didn’t realise I wasn’t getting breakfast. Bread, butter, jam and cereal available in the kitchen. There is a village shop to get your own supplies but you need a car to get there. Carol apologised for not telling me when I booked. She also sorted out a problem with the hot water Later that day I was waiting for a taxi to take me to a wedding further down the road. The taxi didn’t show so Carol very kindly offered to take me. I was incredibly grateful.||The accommodation is clean and very comfortable in a newly converted stable block with a great view. However, some of the mugs are badly stained and could do with a wash in a dishwasher. As there is an element of self catering a tea towel would be useful as would oven gloves, a bread board and bread knife. There was a good selection of teas but I would have appreciated some decaffinated breakfast tea. There were two containers of coffee but it wasn’t clear if either were decaf so I used my own. Book through AirBnB NOT the website. Carol is a lovely host, friendly, approachable and really got me out of a hole! She even offered to come and collect me again in the evening at the end of my wedding celebrations over and above!

I stayed here for one night with my two daughters and their partners. This is a beautiful Listed House with great character. Clean and nicely decorated. My two daughters stayed in the main house and I stayed in the annexe outside. Carole and her husband were very accommodating and gave us a key to the main door as we were going to be late arriving home. The breakfast was good and plentiful. Cereal, Toast and a Cooked English breakfast to follow.with nice pot of tea too. Carole and her husband (the owners) were most welcoming and I would definitely stay with them again.

My daughter booked this wonderful airB&B for two nights, as it was so convenient for the festival we were attending. Carol is delightful, the Elizabethan building utterly charming and the beds really comfortable. It is also so quiet , being on the edge of the village. || Make sure you stay here if ever in this beautiful part of the country.

This place is a little treasure trove. It’s in the heart of the countryside with stunning views. Carol and Patrick were very welcoming. The room was clean and in keeping with the house. We had everything we needed. Breakfast was nice with a fresh egg from the chickens in the garden. Wonderful! Thank you for having us.

We had a fantastic long weekend at High Edser…or should we say Royal High Edser…? It’s a stunning house and gardens in a beautiful location and Carol made us feel completely welcome. Our children loved collecting the eggs for breakfast and playing hide and seek in the garden. She also gave us some great ideas for local places to visit. Thank-you for a special weekend and we hope to visit again.

a return trip to this gem in Its stunning surroundings as it is the perfect base for a cycling weekend in the Surrey hills. Carol and family were incredibly welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. Well worth a visit.

Have stayed here with the family here on and off for years, such a perfect quiet, idyllic, quintessentially English setting with an incredibly hospitable family......nothing was too much trouble for Carol. Can not recommend highly enough.
