A fantastic and memorable experience which was excellent value for money. The spotless railway wagon was spacious with a well equipped kitchen area, full size shower, lovely bedding, TV and a great view from the veranda. The breakfast at the onsite cafe was superb. The Paddocks had a wide range of delightful animals (free entry if staying on site) which was worth more than one visit. Good location for sightseeing in the North East and close to Kynren. Spoilt for choice. This is a wonderful place. Can hardly wait to go back.

Absolutely stunning place from the moment you drive through it. Our caravan pitch was close to everything. It was very quiet when we arrived as out of season. We arrived on a Friday late evening and they accommodated us in the evening local bingo night, got us a table and prepared us some food. Such lovely team!! Everything is clean, spotless, organised, tidy. I can't praise this place high enough. Kids didn't want to leave! The cafe has some beautiful food and the prices are very reasonable! We will definitely be back! We absolutely loved it and recommend it to anyone and everyone!

Liked: Had an absolutely brilliant time here definitely 5* from us! The owners are so lovely we felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. Lovely set up with wonderful views, everywhere was spotlessly clean. Fantastic food & cocktails by far some of the best we've had its just a shame we didn't have longer to try all of them! Play park & petting farm was so fun we all enjoyed feeding the animals, especially our daughter who had a fantastic time so much so we have already booked to come back to stay for her birthday soon! Every member of staff we met on site were friendly and couldn't have been more helpful! Very happy customers, thankyou for having us!

Liked: We booked this site for a group mountain biking weekend in Hamsterley Forest. The site was a 10 minute drive away from the forest itself, so conveniently located. We received a lovely warm welcome on arrival. The facilities were nice and clean with spare loo roll. Lovely hot showers too.
The site itself was lovely, well kept with nice views of the countryside.
The onsite cafe opened as a bar at 6pm with a small but tasty selection of reasonably priced food and a great choice of drinks, including a long list of cocktails. The staff were extremely friendly and made you feel incredibly welcome. Even the dog was fussed over. He got a sausage especially cooked for him in the bar, and the member of staff even blew on it to cool it down for him. Loved it, will definitely visit again.

Liked: Absolutely loved the site, we were a group of 15 with dogs.
Great for dog walks, close to any shops needed. The cafe on site is fabulous, we had a Sunday roast in there and it was beautiful. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The shower block is lovely and very spacious, pitch sites are a good size as well. We felt very safe there. The staff explained everything and we're happy to answer any questions if we had them. The little animals farm is great for young and old kids lol.
The whole site is well maintained and the views are stunning. I would definitely reccomend.

The Hope Hub

A beautiful location for a stay in our motorhome. Lovely shower block and well laid out pitches. Stunning views over the countryside and an excellent cafe and bar on site as well as a small animal area. The owners and staff are so welcoming and helpful. Bus stop within 10 minutes walk. Wheelchair accessible throughout with a separate wet room for disabled use.

Liked: A beautiful well maintained site with outstanding views to open countryside. The site was small and exceptionally peaceful with well maintained landscapes and touring pitches.
The onsite facilities were immaculate. Shower and toilet facilities were very clean and easily accessible.
The paddocks was an added bonus with an array of different animals that the children thoroughly enjoyed. The owners were so kind and helpful and would often engage you in conversation. Whilst viewing the animals staff were enthusiastic and informative. The cafe looked lovely we did not visit this during our stay this time. We would definately recommend a visit.

Disliked: Nothing to add. Completely satisfied.

Liked: Lovely quiet site with great views. Brilliant family facilities, including a family bathroom.
On site, dog friendly farm with lots of animals and a children's play area.
The onsite cafe/bar did good food and incredible ice creams.
