Visited the farmshop and cafe on our bicycles for the first time. ||This place is a real gem with great service and food. Very reasonably priced too (see pics). ||Situated on a lovely high area just outside Barrow on Soar it has lovely views from its outside picnic benches. There is seating inside also. ||The caravan site itself was well manicured and the toilet facilities well kept and warm. ||Will definitely visit here again for lunch when over that way.

Lovely quiet site , spacious pitches with gorgeous views. Great for dogs, you can walk across the field to the village where there's a nice pub. Staff were so helpful and friendly. |Just one point, it would have been useful to know you need a pound coin for the showers.|Highly recommend.

Gets more expensive every time we visit now £35 per night for a grass or handstand with electricity and extra to use shower. Nice views and cafe but dogwalks now restricted. On our evening dogwalk found we were locked out and had to walk rough footpaths almost to Barrow then take our life in our hands walking back on the busy main road. Not good with Parkinson’s!|Unimpressed.

A great place to camp or caravan. All pitches have water and electric. The place is high on top of a hill with great views. At night it can get a little chilly and windy. All staff are very friendly and the cafe is well worth a visit, all cakes are made on site, by young staff. We will visit again . Showers and toilet block has central heating and there is disability parking.

What a great visit. All amenities you could wish for with very pleasant staff. It was really well situated for what we needed which included a trip on the Great Central Railway. Unsure what it would be like in the summer/height of season as there was only one water tap. However, it was no problem for us as there were only a dozen or so vans on the site. Millie's was excellent serving lovely food and drinks at very reasonable prices. We would certainly visit again.

What a lovely Site

Absolutely Spotless & the staff were really nice & helpful.

Some hard standings with plenty of room.

Showers were really clean & though they are a £1.00 You now get 10 minutes of lovely hot water & loads of room to dry yourself.

Fabulous Coffee /Farm Shop too.

Thoroughly enjoyed the dog walks.

A lovely clean, quiet site in a picturesque part of Leicestershire. We never ventured into town just chilled out on the field all weekend. Definitely going back here as it's only 40 mins from us. I think we've found our local "go to"! Loved it.

A lovely warm welcome and really nice clean facilities, excellent farm shop with a cafe on site too. All the pitches are either grass or hard standing and all with electric hook up as well. Every pitch is perfectly flat, my only gripe is £1 for a shower granted this gives you 10 mins, but come on at £35 a night the showers should be included.
