The location of this B & B is excellent, within walking distance to Skipton centre. It is situated up a hill so if you have mobility issues, you will struggle to walk into the centre and may have to drive like we did.||The place was spotlessly clean. A spacious twin room with a good size, modern bathroom. Tastefully decorated with good furnishings. Lovely views across the fields from this room. Beds were very comfortable. Tea, coffee and fresh milk were provided.||Parking available at the property.||Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.||Sally, the host, was very pleasant and helpful, advising us where the best places to eat were. She also suggested we visit Boundary Mill on our way home which was only a short drive away from the property.||The only thing we would have preferred is to have another table in the shared dining room as there was only 1 table for the 2 rooms (there is also a double room at the property). After mentioning to Sally that we would prefer to eat on our own, she said she would do 2 sittings so we didn't have to share the table with strangers. ||All in all we had a lovely stay here and if we visit Skipton in the future, we would definitely book to stay here again. ||

A great host, amazing breakfast, nice comfortable rooms and an ideal place to explore Yorkshire dales from. We completely enjoyed every bit of our time here. Highly recommended.

My girlfriend and I stayed 2 nights over the weekend at Highfields for a wedding at Bolton Abbey. We couldn't recommend this bnb more. The bedroom is clean, modern and private with an ensuite.||||Sally was the perfect host, friendly and attentive. Great location, very peaceful and Skipton Woods a 5 min walk away. Breakfast was excellent, as everything else was to a high standard.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit at Highfields B and B in Skipton. It is very convenient to the castle, Skipton castle woods walk and the main shopping area. The accommodations are first rate with everything you need. The host is friendly with good advice about visiting the surrounding Yorkshire Dales and serves delicious breakfasts (especially on the weekends). A special extra is the public footpath behind the B and B full of cows, sheep and rabbits and a wonderful view of the area.

Couldnt fault the cleanliness.
Amazing homemade flapjack on the coffee table in the room.The Granola with yoghurt and figs etc was amazing for breakfast as was the cooked breakfast.nothing was too much trouble!.Thankyou! *****

Had to cancel our break due to unforseen circumstances |Request to owner regarding refund was met with a simple no.. despite my explanation.|Our weekend away ended up with a loss of £400.|I hope the host enjoys the free £140.
