Went for an early dinner with hubby today. The atmosphere was welcoming as always. The food was fantastic and tasty. I had mixed grill and hubby ordered lamb chops 😋. Friendly staff.

An absolute brilliant place to go. My friend and I popped in there for lunch today and had a 2 course meal for £20 the food was the very best I have eaten in a long time. Well done 👍

We recently dined at Hilal and had it was exceptional experience from start to finish. The meal began with a delightful selection of appetizers, which included a variety of traditional Turkish mezes. Each dish was bursting with flavor and showcased the rich culinary heritage of Turkey.

For the main course, I opted for the lamb meat, which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The lamb was tender, juicy. It was served with a side of fluffy rice and salad, complementing the meat beautifully.

To cap off the meal, we were treated to a small selection of thank you sweets. These little confections were a sweet and thoughtful end to a fantastic meal, highlighting the restaurant's attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Incredible experience … food is absolutely scrumptious. For
starters I had humus and the bread is soft and properly grilled, followed by king prawns and again it has been presented well. Thank you for making my birthday celebrations truly a memorable time. It’s a great place for the community to meet up and just have some lovely conversations.

My walking used The Hilal as its meeting place yesterday, and it was a good choice. Although early, the service was very good and prices were very reasonable.

The building is a piece of history, dating back, I would say at least 450 years. The low ceilings and wooden beams give the resteraunt a certain charm, and it also has its own water feature.

I got a takeaway from Hilal to cater for a birthday dinner and it was fantastic! Delicious food, great portion sizes, and the team were so friendly and helped me to figure out how much to order. Will definitely be ordering again.

Great food, good service, perfect after hike around Otford, conveniently located minutes from station. The aroma of the chargrilled meat is just irresistible.
Came back a month later, still nice and friendly.
