We stayed in “The Trough” at Hill Farm on the last night of our Cotswold Way walk. It’s literally on the Cotswold Way route, so no detours needed after a long day walking.|Our accommodation was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. You have to your own food prep but everything is provided so this was no problem for us. There’s a separate little kitchen/ eating room where we microwaved our “home made” evening meals - both delicious - and prepared and ate our breakfast. We ate our evening meal and sipped a glass of wine in the garden area overlooking the valley beyond in the evening sunshine. Wonderful.|Lucy was a brilliant host and we highly recommend Hill Farm.

AWESOME place! My wife and I stayed here for one night while hiking the Cotswold Way. Lucy was the perfect host. SO friendly and welcoming and accommodating. The room was very nice. The bed: comfy, with a selection of teas and a teapot. Weeks before arriving, I communicated some food allergies to Lucy. She offered a dinner option and it was delicious! Also, the polenta cake for dessert was spot on! Thank you so much. We were fortunate to have a load of our damp laundry done, too. |THIS is the kind of charming place, with a wonderful proprietor, beautiful setting, and good food that make for good memories. The owners have put a lot of love into making this place top notch. I highly recommend this gem. We hope to stay again. Kevin

My husband and I had the good fortune to be booked into Hill Farm while walking the Cotswold Way May 26/24. Our host Lucy was amazing, she took the time to walk us through everything and we were able to use the boot dryer as our boots were soaked through! We stayed in the Trough and it was very cozy and comfortable, large shower and the bed was so comfortable. Lucy has thought of everything you could possibly need or want. And it's right on the Cotswold Way trail. We would highly recommend a stay at Hill Farm.....you won't be disappointed!!

We stopped here when walking the Cotswold way. Right on the path. Beautiful views and fantastic home-cooked food(essential as you can't get anywhere else to eat!)
The hosts were friendly and just the right balance between giving you space and chatting.
The room was very comfortable and there was space to leave (and dry) boots and coats

What an incredible find, fantastic hosts.
This place was our best stay on the whole of the Cotswold Way, mainly due to the quirky shepherd hut and the most wonderful hosts Lucy and Nick. My partner is tall and he had plenty of head room. The shower in hut is excellent and definitely book the food its gorgeous including Lucy's breakfast of eggs and salmon. I will go back just to stay at this place again as it was just fantastic. It has everything you could need and although the bed pulls out it's so comfy and spacious. A truly beautiful place to stay with the best welcome.

Absolutely wonderful and one of my favourite stays on the Cotswold Way (literally ON the track). If you are looking to overnight somewhere for the final walk into Bath, Hill Farm is it! Lucy was a wonderful host and confirmed my booking despite it being less than 24hrs prior. Comfortable rooms, piping hot showers with every possible item a walker might need - heat bags, bandaids, boot dryers, laundry and kitchenette facilities. Lucy and her husband actually walked the Cotswold Way as 'research' to make sure their accomodation met all the requirements.
Highly recommend the 'supper option'. Lovely meals and all homemade locally.

The kind of welcome, hospitality and accommodation you imagine and hope for along the Cotswold Way. Lucy greeted us by name as if we were long lost friends arriving home, even putting the kettle on for a cuppa. We'd arranged for prepared dinners to warm up, which were simple, tasty fare. Great to have our own separate kitchen space to eat dinner and then have everything supplied to make our own breakfast. The Trough room is cosy, with modern shower room. Lots of attention to detail for the small things you might need, from a water bottle, tape, or first aid kit to muscle rub after those hill climbs! And directly on the Cotswold Way. Truly, the kind of stay you hope for on this kind of adventure! Thanks Lucy!

Beautiful location for our last stop on The Cotswold Way before Bath. Lovely views and very comfortable accommodation. The hosts were very friendly. Our best stop on the whole route and very convenient.
Thoroughly recommend.
