Excellent, couldn’t fault anything. We got exactly what we paid for and expected. Slept well, good bed, very clean, nice size walk in shower too. We had probably the smallest upstairs room, but with a good bed & adequate size room with nice full opening double windows to the garden, safe to have open through the night, very refreshing stay. The coffee & tea supply needed refreshing, worth a note to owners. Superb breakfast, cereals, breads and hot cooked full English, not served in the same building, across the way by the equestrian centre, which was also novel, as it was a delight to see the beautiful horses & riders practicing their jumps.

For the price we felt disappointed by Hill Farm B&B. We were expecting something a bit special but felt it was average - there was a big gap between the outside patio doors & door frame and also the main door to the room - letting in light & a lot of fresh air! |The tea tray was disappointing for the room price - no biscuits or hot chocolate & one tea bag each.|You have to walk a couple of minutes to the breakfast room which is ok in July but I wouldn't want to do it in January in the rain.|The full English was excellently cooked however we were not offered any cereal, fruit or extra toast. ||Overall, for the price I would expect a more, especially ss it is marketed as being something more luxurious.

8 of us stayed here in 4 rooms. It was perfect for us - the ground floor room was accessible for our elderly Mum. The four poster bed was amazing. All the rooms were clean and comfortable. Laura was a perfect host and very helpful. The breakfasts were lovely. The only downside was plastic bottled water at breakfast! And some people objected to the peacock’s outbursts - but when we saw how gorgeous he was he was forgiven. Excellent value. I’d stay again.

My husband and I booked this for a portion of our second honeymoon and we loved it! The food was wonderful, the bed was extremely comfortable. The room was adorable and surroundings were beautiful. The host was very welcoming and accommodating. The room was small but just as described online… I read there were some complaints about that but it was accurately described and a very good value for the price. The room had everything we could need. You will definitely want a vehicle from this location, just an FYI as it is in the country a bit.

Facilities charming...next to equestrian center with made to order breakfast to your delight. Owners are welcoming and engaging. Worth the drive and expence.

Not worth staying here for the price per night. Host and workers were not pleasant and not accommodating, in contrast to what is promoted on their website. They were not able to help with things as simple as having fruit and yoghurt for breakfast or ordering a taxi. They were rude and made us feel uncomfortable. would not come back here.

My wife and daughter booked a room here with a dog, not realising that it was a dog unfriendly place. When they arrived, a polite man explained this and offered to issue a refund because it was just a misunderstanding.
The wife, however, is a different case. I rang her on several occasions to enquire about the refund the first 2 occasions she hung up on me, the 3rd time she denied her husband had offered a refund consequently we had a discussion, she hung up on me again, but before doing so she called me an argumentative Scouser. As I said, the wife is a different case.

The farm is in beautiful grounds. The room we booked was very clean and some nice tea and biscuits and a bottle of water which was a very nice touch.
The room, however, was very small clostrophobic, I felt, and the dark walls didn't help.
The double bed was a small one which did give measurements in the description, but i didnt really take much notice so my fault, but when you have a partner who's 6ft 3 and big, it gets a bit squashed at night.
The staff at breakfast were lovely and did a great job the vegetarian breakfast was a big disappointment there was no veg sausage or halloumi just egg 1 tomato 1 small mushroom 1 small pot of beans and 3 tiny potatoes with 1 and half slices of toast, I did go away hungry.
It's was a lot to pay for what we got I feel
