On first arrival the hosts, Tony and Pat, were very welcoming and couldn’t be more keen to help. Then the room was excellent, they were very modern and comfortable with good wifi and amenities (water, tea, coffee, biscuits etc). Also, the breakfasts are excellent. There was plenty of variety and it was all fresh and well cooked. |Finally, I was staying for my wedding night and they went the extra mile to make our stay special. I would come back in a heartbeat.|Overall, a fantastic stay and I highly recommend it to anybody!

Tony and Pat are extremely friendly and do their best to ensure your stay with them is an experience enjoyed. The breakfast has plenty of choices, Pat even went out of her way to do fried bread as an extra for my husband when requested I highly recommend the vegetarian breakfast which was a lovely surprise as an option instead of the full English without the meat.
The room was spacious and clean with all you need for a relaxing overnight stay with a babbling brook and beautiful surroundings.

Welcoming, friendly. Bed & Breakfast with great breakfast. It was very hot so host got us some ice water as we'd been hiking and supplied a fan to cool the room down. Comfortable beds. Helped with finding us a bus timetable so we could get to our next destination. All very nice

If I could give more stars I would! The property itself is stunning and the scenery is post card picturesque. ||We had the double room and my sons were in the twin room opposite, both were immaculate, spacious and beautifully decorated..the sound of the trickling stream outside the windows added to the sense of calm and peacefulness. The layout and having our own access made it feel as if we weee staying in our own cottage rather than a B&B. ||The hosts are truly welcoming and made everything so easy from start to finish. Happy to chat and helpful but not intrusive at all. Then there is the breakfast..all served in another beautiful room. Great choice, plenty of food and a first class full English. ||Would highly recommend Hills View and would stay again in a heartbeat.

The stay I had there with my friend was absolutely wonderful. Tony and Patricia were amazing welcoming hosts. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very clean. The breakfast offered was high quality and very tasty. Tony offered some recommendations of local sights and eats which we of course tried out. I would highly recommend staying here.

We had the most fantastic stay at Hill View B&B recently. In fact it was so lovely, we asked if we could stay for a second night. The hosts we delightful and so accommodating. The accommodation was lovely, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. We stayed in The Old Forge which had particularly high ceilings and was light and airy. It looked out onto the peaceful garden and there was private seating next to the babbling brook which made for a very tranquil setting.||The hosts had prepared a platter for us upon request for the evening that we arrived which was amazing. Everything was spot on, as was the breakfasts. Vegetarian can sometimes be a pain for hosts, but not here.||The position of this accommodation is perfectly placed as it's close to the moors, the coast and also the towns of Launceston and Truro which are worth a visit.||"Sterts" Theatre is nearby which is a covered open air theatre. It has a great rolling programme and is worth a visit but do dress accordingly in warm clothes as it can get chilly in the second half. The staff are really friendly and helpful and can lend out blankets, cushions and fleeces for a donation if you go unprepared.||We really loved our stay at Hill View and really would love to go back for longer next time. After only two nights away, we came home feeling relaxed and as if we had been away for a week. We can't recommend it enough!

A wonderful weekend at Hill View B&B. Tony and Patricia were wonderful hosts in their lovely home. Great rooms with all the facilities in a tranquil setting with the stream trickling down from the Moors. A great offering at breakfast and all Covid safe. It really was a great of a weekend and I look forward to another opportunity to return. I felt very well looked after.

Great location with the A30 being just 6 miles away, this B&B is a super place to stay if you are wanting to explore. All rooms are individual, very well furnished with everything you need and each has its own terrace looking out over the beautiful garden . Pat and Tony are perfect hosts and very helpful with plenty of recommendations for local pubs and places to visit. We stayed for 6 days, thoroughly enjoyed our stay and didn’t have any issue whatsoever. Very happy to recommend.
