I had a wonderful, peaceful one night stay in beautiful surroundings.
The room was just as it is pictured (so ofen they are not) and met all my expectations. The breakfast was tasty, I couldn't fault it. The hosts were lovely.
I think the Hillcrest is value for money and class.

We went for our grandson's wedding at the vineyard down the road and booked the Hillcrest B&B in advance. Brenda and David were extremely welcoming, the 'Pink' room was comfortable and everything we needed and full English breakfast was included. So perfect for our needs.

Short walk to the meeting location. Excellent breakfast and lovely clean room with a great view. Excellent and friendly service. Excellent free broadband.

Yet another excellent stay at out favourite B&B. We always use this, when visiting in the area as the welcome is exceptional and the hosts Brenda and David are so friendly.|The rooms are comfortable and clean with everything you might need. It is the little extra touches that set it above what might be expected, I’ll let you find out what.|The house is situated in a rural setting overlooking countryside with a lovely garden both front and back. Safe parking on the drive adds to the experience.|The breakfast has all you would require and if you’re truly hungry that’s no bother either. The value for money is exceptional.

We stayed for three nights in the Green Room at the Hillcrest. We were made very welcome from the start, with Brenda and Dave being attentive and thoughtful hosts. The room was very clean and comfortable, and had the added bonus of a large bathroom with bath. It was also well-equipped with a fridge for fresh milk. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful, with fresh fruit, cereal and a cooked option too. The dining room looks out onto a peaceful garden, full of birds and also a visiting pheasant. It was a short walk from Hillcrest into the village of Earls Barton. There was a good local pub there, The Old Swan, busy so worth booking, that was friendly and served quality pub food. The Nene Way is nearby so there are lots of options for riverside and lake side walks. Many thanks to Brenda and Dave for welcoming us into their home.

Hillcrest is a large, detached property built, I would guess in the 20's or 30's so stylish without being fussy. It has magnificent views, particularly from the back. We stayed for just a night while visiting friends in Northampton and were in the Green Room. This is actually a mini-suite with its own bathroom and separate toilet, curtained off from the rest of the house. The place was spotless and the welcome from Brenda was warm, with Dave no less friendly when we met him the following morning. Breakfast was excellent with more than adequate provision for my wife's wheat intolerance. Overall, a great place run by great people.

Stayed 2 nights in this wonderful B&B. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Welcoming, clean, comfortable and relaxed. Fantastic hosts and it was a privilege to be able to share their beautiful home. The view from our bedroom, the Pink Room, over the large garden into the distance was stunning! Breakfast was everything you needed it to be. My husband preferring the extensive cooked option whilst I had yoghurt, fruits, cereal, fresh juice, toast! I cannot recommend this little gem enough!

From arriving at the hillcrest b&b we was greeted by Brenda and dave. Such a lovely couple. Brenda shown us to our room which was the pink room and a double bed and was very comfortable. We had a toilet and sink in our room and the shower was just next door which wasn't any problem what so ever. Brenda and dave thought of everything you could imagine. So if you forgot anything it was there in your room. Breakfast was lovely. All made fresh. You had cereals ,fruit,juice,yoghurts etc all set out in the dining room and could help yourself to all of it. The house is huge and was so clean and I would definitely stay here again without a doubt and will let family and friends know of our little gem the hillcrest. Its a lovely area aswel. Just want to say a massive thank you to Brenda and dave for everything. Love from the Ratcliffes ?
