Room was bright and airy and the bed was very comfortable. Well equipped with nice toiletries in the bathroom and a good hospitality tray and coffee machine. It was very hot and there was even a pedestal fan available. Parking provided. It's a short walk to the centre of town. Breakfast was served in the room but was plentiful and there was a table and chairs in the room for this purpose. Would highly recommend a stay here

We loved Hillcrest! Lovely room, big bathroom, comfy bed and great hosts. It's only a short walk into Whitby which was brilliant too. ||But the breakfasts - wow! Breakfast arrived in a crate, you choose what you would like the night before. I thoroughly enjoyed my fresh and hot bacon, avocado and tomato roll and overnight oats and my husband enjoyed his sausage and egg roll, muesli and toast and marmalade. It was presented really nicely too. ||The hosts had thought of everything: even blackout blinds and shutters as the room got full sun in the morning. The only problem we had was because I could not work out how to use the coffee machine, so flooded the tray. I confessed, and they are going to put instructions in the room to stop other guests having the same problem. ||We will definitely visit again! Thank you for a lovely mini break!!

This was the second time we've stayed at Hillcrest, and we certainly intend to stay there again. The en suite room contained everything we needed, and was very clean. The breakfast is booked the day before and brought to your room in the morning, and the range of food on offer was great, including vegan options. Laura and Greig are great hosts and always there to help if needed. We had a fantastic few days in wonderful Whitby, and our stay in this B & B only added to that experience.

We have staid at Hillcrest many times, it’s absolutely wonderful, we would never consider anywhere else. Its location is perfect, it’s away from the hustle of the centre but only 10 minutes walk, with a car park space per room, just park the car for your stay and walk. The rooms are large, clean and have everything you need, the breakfast is delivered to the room with everything you could possibly want. The hosts Greg and Laura are great, nothing too much trouble. Definitely book with confidence, I bet you go back, we did!

What a great hotel, run by Greig and Laura, nothing was too much trouble We got the last room as this was booked at the last minute for a two night mid-week break.|The room was comfortable and clean with a modern and excellent bathroom. tea and coffee making facility with milk in a fridge in the hallway which was available should you need it and TV. Also in the hall were lots of information leaflets laid out on a table. |One of the big selling points for me was that they had a private parking space next to the hotel available for all rooms, something which many places don't have even the large places like Travelodge etc.|Breakfast is ordered the day before by filling in a request form and can stipulate when you'd like it to arrive (within reason of course). There's lots of choice from cerials to hot sausage and egg sandwiches, toast etc. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back in the future.

This is one of the best places I've stayed in Whitby, very friendly welcome, free on site off-road parking, four poster beds and rooms are all a great size with ensuite. Best feature about staying at Hillcrest is you don't have to get up and get dressed to go breakfast with strangers, you just place your order on a form in the room and they deliver it to your door at the time you state. There's nice tables by the windows in your room to eat, relaxing in your PJs until it's time to check out if you like. Rooms are tasteful, well decorated and clean. Decent size TV in room, great location, just five to ten minutes walk to Whitby town centre, definitely value for money and will stay here again.

Warm welcome,lovely room and about 10minutes walk to quayside, so great location. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast is chosen the night before and delivered to your room. Breakfast is amazing and tasty. Would highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be staying here again. Thanks
