Lovely B&B with a friendly manageress. Bed was super comfy, peaceful sleep and great breakfast to start the day. Would absolutely stay here again!

I was booked to stay in the small double room, but the landlady upgraded me to the larger room, saying that she felt that it would be better for me. The room was large and spacious, with a fridge. A jug of milk is supplied for tea and coffee, and there is bottled water in the fridge, too. The landlady was very kind and most helpful and interested in ensuring i had everything that i needed. I only had breakfast on one morning due to my work schedule, but it was very well cooked and right on time for when I requested it. It is in a quiet location, but I would recommend it for anyone wanting to get away from it all or business people.

If you want to experience the old farmhouse, this is your chance. Doors made by a carpenter with real wood, complete with iron latch, wooden floors, beams, stairs - timewarp! Authentic locally produced food. Friendly local owner serving local produce. It doesn't get any more authentic than this.

We stayed at Hillside Bed and Breakfast for one night on 20 July, as we were attending a wedding. Our double ensuite room was quiet and very comfortable with plenty of tea and coffee! The host, Sue, was very friendly and helpful, kindly allowing us to arrive early before the wedding and even calling us to let us know our room was ready, which was much appreciated. The breakfast was exceptional. We really enjoyed the lovely fresh fruit salad and the full English breakfast was cooked to perfection! We would definitely highly recommend Hillside Bed and Breakfast. Thank you Sue for such a pleasant stay.

Two night stay with family, using two of the rooms at the start of August, to attend a family wedding on the edge of Exeter. Lovely friendly host, who provided a wonderful breakfast each morning. Rooms & beds are very comfortable & wouldn't hesitate booking up there again in the future, if needed to stay in that area of Devon.

A beautiful and cosy B&B. Lovely bedroom, comfy bed, plenty of coffee, tea making in the room, mini fridge with fresh milk and water. Great choice for breakfast. Delightful Sue, the owner, always with a smile.

A lovely bed and breakfast. Sue was a great host and welcomed us into her home/business.

We had the family room and was lovely, 2 bedrooms and a large bathroom.

The breakfast was amazing! She cooked what we ordered and offered more if needed.
Will definitely recommend and stay again. 👌
