Very small fine B & B with very good and extensive breakfast.
The hosts really made you feel welcome from start to finish, we arrived late because about a three hour delay from the flight, but we just felt fine after arrived.

The room was spacious enough with a great view over the mountain, absolutely spotless clean, top in order.
We slept perfectly well! Nice selection of cosmetic articles for showering and refreshing!

Very nice farewell conversation, stay healthy and have a lot of fun in Berlin! Wonderful to have met you both! Thank you very much!

You just can’t beat a lively warm home feeling when you stay away!
This is a tremendous wee find!
Lovely couple who run this B&B ! They are the most welcoming people,clearly done this for a long time and know the score!
Lively room,spotless and clean ,comfy bed,everything you need at hand !
Lovely breakfast spread!
Very peaceful place to relax.

Without doubt the best B and B I have stayed in in many years. Friendly, efficient and fascinating owners. Pristine room with comfy bed.Perfect full cooked breakfast. Thanks for a great stay - and the view was lovely too!

Margaret was friendly and really kept things up every day. Always talking out the garbage and puffing things up. I didn't need the extra attention, but it is special compared to most of the BnBs I've been at (over 20). She has a lot of experience, and it shows. I enjoyed our brief conversations each morning, being a solo traveler.
I'd come back here in a minute if I ever get the chance to visit Scotland again. I can only hope I do.

I needed a reasonable place to stay a night in order to go to a wedding at nearby wedding venue, The Vue. I was delighted to find this BnB. I had a really lovely welcome from the coupe who run it. They could not have been more welcoming and helpful, yet discreet in that way that you can still enjoy your space to relax! Cosy single room, Margaret let me know in advance that it was downstairs and no window, but that is why it was such good value. And anyway, it was very comfortable! (Brought my earplugs in case other guests up early and were downstairs). Absolutely delicious breakfast, freshly cooked. And was left in peace to enjoy, or to chat to them if I wanted to. Bliss!

I had a wonderful experience staying with Margaret and her husband. They were very kind and helpful. Their B&B was delightfully cozy and very clean. My room was fantastic with a fabulous view! Margaret's breakfasts were delicious and more than filling. I very much enjoyed my stay and would recommend staying with them at their B&B.

My partner and I stayed at the Hillview run by Margaret and Derek, for the 4th time last week, (I only noticed the Tripadvisor sticker on the front door then) I would vouch for their hospitality everytime. They run a very homely B&B, nothing is too much to ask, very clean establishment, smashing breakfast, great views to the West, in a quiet area of the town but is within walking distance. I don't know how we found this B&B first time around but we will return many times again whilst visiting family.

100% recommend this B and B. Extremely clean, run by the warmest couple, who go above and beyond to make you comfortable. Delicious food for breakfast, great views and a very warm, cozy home. Also only a 15 minute walk to train station.
