We found maggots... While the scenery and location were great, there is much to be improved. There were maggots in the mop, which our 2 year old found. When reported the mop was removed promptly but not replaced so we couldn't clean the floors during our stay. Recommendations for staying here (lodge 3):
Bring your own towels - the ones provided have holes in them and there's not extras for the hot tub
Bring your own cookware - no oven trays and the frying pans were unusable as they were filthy
Don't expect spotless accomodation - the accommodation is giving worn Facebook market place. All needs a bit of live and updating and a good clean. Things like the extractor fan don't look like they've ever been cleaned, kettle full of lime scale, among other things which we have reported to the owners.
Hot tub was great and enjoyed by all, quiet site with access to a few towns.

Brilliant site. Good lodge. A bit of TLC needed:-toilet seats loose.broken patio chairs.carpet not been hoovered sufficiently.Broken wardrobe doors in twin room.. Just overall maintenance needed. Things I've mentioned were also in visitor book from previous guests

Just had a fantastic 3 night stay at no 1 Hillview lodges. The views and tranquility are perfect. The lodge is lovely, homely and comfortable, with lovely finishing touches. Just a few things to note cutlery etc could be better. Better lighting around the hot tub(we had a really good torch with us). Also it may spoil the streamline look of the decking but a gate would be a massive bonus as it is a pet friendly lodge. I would would love to go back. The hot tub is the icing on the cake .it would be 5 stars but for the few things I mentioned. I would definitely recommend.

What a beauitiful and quite lodge park.

Stayed in Lodge 4, was nice and clean, very spacious.

Scenery, hot tub was fantastic.

Really couldn't fault the stay at all, lovely weather, visited some lovely nearby attractions, Stratord Upon Avon, Ralph Court Gardens, Witley Court And Gardens, Blists Hill Victorian Town, Hoo Zoo, RAF Cosford.

Loved this place, brilliant relaxing surrounds, with only 8 well laid out Lodges in the grounds, ours had a lovely hit tub all well located. However, you will transport to go anywhere.
The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was the outside of the lodges could be much cleaner (cobwebs all around the eaves, windows all marked and needed a good clean, our shrubs needed trimming back etc) Also the bin store was over flowing badly.... not nice.

Just returned home from a 4 day break. Stayed in lodge 5 which was a nice size and extremely clean. Hot tub was very nice and quite powerful. Couple of things which would improve the stay would be new mattresseand a few more kitchen utensils bowls etc . Also pan selection was not great. But overall excellent lodge in beautiful countryside

Fantastic place, we did 4 days and all I want to do is stay for longer. The area is so nice and quiet the hot tub is a dream and Tesco and a co op are only a 10 minute drive away.
I'd recommend going on some of the walks nearby as they are very beautiful.
