Great location overlooking the racecourse. Lovely rooms with amazing comfy beds. No bath and shower wasn’t very hot at all Slowish service at restaurant, took time to be served at my table. But overall great place to stay. Just maybe need a bit more choice on the menu.

On arrival the hotel is beautiful and inviting, kept lovely. The woman on reception was extremely rude, did not greet us on arrival checking in,nor introduce herself was unhelpful and made us feel quite uncomfortable with how she spoke to us. Would not go back for this reason as it has been the same 2 years running. It was quite stressful getting booked in and paying.Shame as the rest of the staff were pleasant and helpful and the hotel is beautiful

We found this hotel after we had an impromptu stay in Doncaster and it was prefect. The hotel is modern and immaculate and the staff were pleasant, polite and helpful. We were given a beautiful room that overlooked the race course, and again it was immaculate and extremely comfortable. We ate in the hotel in the evening and the food was excellent as was the breakfast in the morning. We really enjoyed our stay and should we find ourselves in Doncaster again we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

The showers in the hotel are terrible. They have installed water saving heads and the experience is awful. Its like being on a very low pressure water area, it was much better before they did this! | Shame as the rest of the hotel is great. The staff are mostly friendly, the food is good. I stay very regular for work so this is very disappointing and so easy to put right.

I went here for a charity conference and staff event. The room was a great size and had all that was needed. It was comfortable and clean. We had a buffet style lunch provided that was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend for a work conference or similar.

We stayed for one night on a Sunday and it was fantastic. We travelled with our dog and they couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly. We received a room upgrade to a racecourse view and it really is lovely. The breakfast was well worth the £15 compared to other hotel breakfasts. Everything was top notch!

I stay overnight in hotels for more than 100 nights per year, so I know what I like. To begin with, the hotel and the room were immaculate. Huge desk in the room to work the laptop and a moveable swivel chair…ideal for working. Immaculate bathroom and shower. Free car parking, great view overlooking the racecourse, modern décor within the room and no needless service charge on the restaurant bill…some hotels add this ‘discretionary’ charge, only for most people to ask it to be removed. As for the restaurant, a huge glass of fresh orange for only £2.60…in a recent hotel stay, I had half that amount for almost double the price. Little things like the linen napkins set this place above the norm with friendly reception staff (I even received a text asking me if everything was good…new one to me) and fast and professional table service. I'm sceptical about the vegan ‘Beyond’ spaghetti Bolognese…probably the best Bolognese dish I’ve ever had. There was no complimentary water in the room and broadband (14.9 Mbps) let it down slightly. Nevertheless, shame I wasn’t staying here for longer, but this will be bookmarked for future stays.
