We were greeted on arrival by a lovely lady at reception who booked us in for dinner and checked that we had everything we needed. The room was spacious and comfortable and very clean. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. They took allergies very seriously and double checked that everything was ok. When it came to breakfast I mentioned to the waitress that I was gluten and dairy free as we walked to the table. She said she knew I wasn’t able to have the sausages and would double check the other hot food. There was a gluten free buffet station. They brought me out a full cooked breakfast that they had made in the kitchen to ensure no cross contamination. They apologised that they didn’t have slices bread for me but they had toasted a roll.

A modern, interesting hotel sandwiched between the impressive Utilita bowl cricket ground and a great looking golf course. We had a night at the hotel, with free car parking, on site, whilst away on a cruise. The hotel’s cruise package, which is excellent value for money, includes a taxi to and from the cruise terminal. Our standard room, overlooking the golf course, was roomy, well equipped with a large comfy bed and fab large walk in shower etc. Breakast choice was good and food quality also very good. We had an evening meal in the vibrant Beefys restaurant with great views over the cricket ground. Food was very good. All staff are pleasant. Overall a really enjoyable little stay. A brilliant cruise package which we will have no hesitation in checking out next time we cruise from Southampton.

Stayed a few times on a pre cruise overnight stopover. Staff always very good and helpful. Stayed in a deluxe room with balcony overlooking the cricket ground (worth paying £20/night extra in our view) -basic rooms just have a window at the back of the hotel. Breakfast very good. For a cruise stopover its excellent apprx £300 for B and B | accomm/safe car parking for 15 nights/ private taxi service to/from Southampton cruise terminal.

Stayed here at the start of September. The staff were very pleasant, and check-in was quick. Car parking is free but was fairly busy, but we did find a space.|We had the top suite and the room was very nice and large in size, balcony had lovely views.|Restaurant there was very nice, fairy expensive but very nice quality food, staff in here were lovely, did get room service for breakfast and it was on time and very good choice. |We are frequent cruisers and visit Southampton a fair bit, we have stayed in a fair few hotels, but for us, this will now be our go-to hotel for a pre night stay, im sure they also do park and stay packages, overall the staff, atmosphere, food and service we found to be 10/10.|Thank you, and I have just booked for February. Well done, staff and management, you have it right in my view.|

We stayed here for only one night. We were heading to Portsmouth for a cruise. This place is a bona-fide resort. They offered spa amenities, they had golf courses and a nice restaurant/bar. Wish we could have enjoyed this place more. It's gorgeous inside and the rooms were oh so spacious! Our window over looked the golf course. We had fish and ships plus beers for dinner. We were able to get drinks and lunch before we headed to the port. Nothing is walking distance, in my opinion. If you want to relax and enjoy your holiday, this is the place! My only complaint is that this place is cashless so I was unable to break 20£ for a tip. Andrew was wonderful and he checked us in quickly, since our room was not ready. They took our luggages and we were off to Stonehenge. Thank you. I hope we return soon.

We had a suite .
It was bleak under furnished and shabby .
The heat was unbearably through the huge windows.
We had a nice early morning wake up
From approx 200 runners outside the window having a Sunday run .
Went to breakfast at 9.30 am and it was like they had lost the will to live .
Waited 25 mins for eggs.
No pastries or quasants left .

This hotel was full of guys on golf trips and they pretty much cleared the restaurant of food .
The hotel is ideally placed for the huge golf club .

So don't hire a suite expecting a nice romantic quiet weekend because it's just not that kind of Hilton .

Plenty of better hotels than this in the area .

We stayed the evening before our family|Cruise and had three rooms with parking. The rooms were clean and couldn’t be faulted. ||The issues came the next morning when we sat in the foyer waiting for our pre booked taxi to pick Us up and take us to the cruise terminal. As we waited we decided to purchase drinks and food for the family. We asked to order at reception and were told someone from room service would be down to take our order. My elderly father asked three or four times during, at least an hours wait if we could order. Eventually a lady came through and took our order, we just ordered drinks first and when she brought it to us she said ‘They’d be no cost for the teas and coffees due to the wait we had’, we thanked her. We sat for a while longer, ordered food and more drinks via virtual menu paying in full. ||As our taxis arrived we left the hotel taking our elderly patents with extremely fragile Mobility a staff member ran after us saying we needed to pay the bill!!! My husband asked what for as the three rooms had been paid and parking, breakfast, food and drinks. I left my elderly parents and sent my 17 year old son to sit in the taxi with them so I could go back to see what the issue was. The same staff member said I owed £13 for drinks, I said we had been told by the waitress who had brought them that they were complementary, she said ‘Well, I’ve spoken to her and they are not’.||This whole situation was embarrassing and unprofessional. We are not a family who would try and get out of paying yet we were shown in this light. This was the start of a special family holiday but we were left with a bitter taste in our mouths. Why had the staff member chosen to ‘run’ after us as we were boarding the taxi when we had been sat there for hours? Surely we could have been approached sooner when more appropriate?
