Held my wedding here on the 3rd July.
I cannot express how absolutely incredible the whole venue/team/animals/grounds were.
From the moment we booked to the moment we left they accommodated everything they could. Even my most crazy ideas. Nothing was too much trouble. They were incredibly tentative throughout the whole day/night. Making sure everything ran as smoothly as possible. I cannot recommend Hockwold hall and their team more. I would rate 100 stars if I could. Thank you for making my day so incredibly magical.

My partner and I (along with 26 guests!) traveled from abroad – many on long-haul flights – for our wedding at Hockwold Hall. We stayed for two nights between the Hall and Old Cottage House, and honestly, every moment was worth the journey.

This place is absolutely stunning. It's got all this history (King Henry VIII used to own it!), but what really got us was the outdoor ceremony area and that insane backyard. We lucked out with gorgeous weather, which made everything even more magical.
Richard, Ali, Beth, and Molly were incredible – they genuinely made us feel so welcome. The hand-written wedding card they gave touched our hearts. It's those little gestures that show how much they actually care about your day.

Sure, the venue's had some famous guests (Courtney Cox, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran), but what struck us most was how personal everything felt despite all that prestige.

Honestly can't recommend Hockwold Hall enough. If you want somewhere that's got the history, the beauty, and a team that genuinely cares, this is it. Zero regrets about celebrating our biggest day here.

Celebrated my sons wedding at this amazing place. Was amazed by first sight. So nice, clean well looked after premises. Staff was absolutely friendly and helpful, was looking after us all the time. I can not recommend enough. Amazing quite private safe place . And those peacocks 😍 we all where amazed by them. Thank you so much

We cannot thank the team at Hockwold Hall enough for making our wedding day so perfect. From start to finish, the staff were absolutely wonderful and incredibly attentive. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they took care of everything behind the scenes — allowing us to relax and truly enjoy every moment without a single worry.
It was such a stress-free experience, and that peace of mind is honestly priceless when it comes to planning a wedding. Every detail was managed seamlessly, and we felt completely looked after the entire day.
Our guests haven’t stopped talking about how stunning the venue is. The grounds, the hall, the atmosphere — everything was just beautiful. Hockwold Hall really is a special place, and we feel so lucky to have celebrated our day there.

We recently had our wedding at Hockwold Hall and it was truly the most magical experience from start to finish. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with beautiful grounds and a charming atmosphere that made the perfect backdrop for our special day.

A huge part of what made everything so flawless was the incredible coordination by Beth and Molly. They were outstanding, professional, friendly, and so well organised. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely looked after. Everything ran like clockwork and we genuinely wanted for nothing. No detail was missed, and any small worries we had were taken care of before we even noticed them.

Beth and Molly went above and beyond to ensure our day was seamless and stress-free. Their calm, reassuring presence made it easy to relax and truly enjoy every moment. We can’t thank them enough for their support and for helping to bring our vision to life so perfectly.

If you’re considering Hockwold Hall for your wedding, don’t hesitate! it was one of the best decisions we made. A beautiful venue, exceptional staff, and an unforgettable experience.

We had our wedding here in April and it was honestly the best day of our lives!

The amount of care and attention Richard and his team gave to us was unreal - they provided us with everything we needed and more! They were super friendly and would work with us to achieve anything we wanted.

All of our guests said it was a perfect wedding and we couldn’t fault a single thing about the venue or the team.

I was told by guests I was very relaxed on our wedding day, and I suspect that was largely due to the calm and efficient nature of the team who made the magic happen around us. Where do we start! Breathtaking venue, stunning, tranquil are but a few words to describe this most beautiful venue. From the moment we first came to a wedding fair to packing our bags & saying goodbye, the staff are a true credit! Nothing was too much trouble, they went above & beyond to ensure the day ran smoothly. They contributed to making the day as perfect as we had hoped for! Amazing to have our close friends & family be able to stay with us & continue to celebrate in the quirky cellar bar was just lovely. A special thanks to Beth, Molly & Richard you were just all magnificent. A venue that fairytales are made of, from children to adults everybody LOVED it! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone & everyone as it will truly make your day as special as your day deserves to be!

Me and my partner were lucky enough to get married this week at Hockwold Hall. Richard and Beth who we dealt with the most were fantastic and covered everything that was needed, helping make the day run very smoothly with our suppliers and their wider team. Little things that are important that usually go unnoticed such as how quickly the team catered for any needs or changes on the fly, or the security covering site overnight provided reassurance to an exceptional day. We would highly recommend anyone who is looking to get married, Hockwold is very high on the list for consideration. Having rooms on-site, but also additional accommodation options with a camping pitch, tour buses and more are very beneficial. The ability to get married inside or outside also helps with flexibility on the day depending on the weather as well, though the outside location looks fantastic and feels great being outside. 10/10 would recommend, thank you everyone for making the experience the best it possibly could be!
