Right from the initial booking our visit was delt with promptly and efficiently. I was contacted a few times before our visit via email enquiring if any special requests were required and anything we needed would be catered for. Upon arrival we were met with a warm, courteous reception by a gentleman at he checking in desk, we were made to feel at ease right away by what we know now to be it was 'Lewis' the hotel manager. Lewis ensured all was in order and that we were happy at all times. Even when Lewis finished his shift much later that day the remaining staff members were excellent! The staff were helpful, informative and smiling at all times which is testament to Lewis's leadership skills. ||We cant rate this establishment highly enough after our stay however... one tiny gripe that one of the senior bar staff was what i would describe cold, he made us feel a little undervalued to be honest and let the side down. I will be happy to elaborate on this if you would like to contact myself, we stayed last weekend in a party of four. We would rate this hotel 9.5 out of 10 and its a clear sign that great management goes a long way as all staff were singing from the same hymn sheet (apart from one).||We would like to wish you guys at Stone Manor all the best for the future and we cant wait to return!. ||||Ryan L. Very well located hotel with spacious comfortable rooms. The staff are really helpful and friendly. We had a family room for 4 of us ( including 2 teenage boys ) and we had plenty of space in the room. The bathroom was well equipped and the under floor heating is a welcome touch for 4am bathroom break! The hotel is set in beautiful grounds with gardens you can walk around. The breakfast is superb with lots of choice from continental pastries with fruit through to a full English breakfast. Wendy and Matt made us feel very welcome in the restaurant at breakfast time. I would highly recommend this hotel for family trips or business. We visited West Midlands safari park which is local to the hotel. Having stayed at this hotel on many occasions I can highly recommend it

We had a great time at the hotel the staff was very helpful and friendly. |We had gone there for my daughter’s birthday the food was delicious the staff in the restaurant was helpful in all ways nothing was to much trouble for them. |The bedroom was beautiful my only thing I would say the bathroom radiator could not be turned on as there was no knob on the radiator valve to turn it on so the bathroom was very cold when having a shower.

Stunning Manor House for a Special Event. We had a magical wedding day here.
The staff are outstanding. They work together so the whole event was seamless. They were attentive, helpful and always happy. The grounds gave lots of opportunities for photos and
the black and white beams of the building made a great backdrop. Inside there is a calm, warm ambience. The open fires and armchairs were the perfect place to enjoy a glass or two. The food was amazing and plenty of it. We were so impressed with the quality of the food, the whole family have booked Christmas day and we can not wait to go back. We stayed the night and the views over the gardens and fields were beautiful to wake up to. Spotlessly clean and very well maintained hotel. This is a top class hotel which I highly recommend.

We stayed 1 night as our friends got married here over the Christmas period. The room was a good size, shower was good, and the bed was comfortable. And for what we paid (£100’for the night) we were reasonably happy. |We had bar food in the one lounge when we arrived which was quite pricey, but it was good. Drink prices are as you would expect in a hotel.

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times before and always enjoyed a relaxing break, with beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, and a friendly yet professional team. However, my most recent stay didn’t quite live up to the experiences I’ve had in the past. While the hotel remains stunning, it seemed to have taken on a more corporate feel, which caused it to lose some of its previous charm and personality.||Check-in was efficient and welcoming, and the room was as lovely as always. However, there was an event happening during our stay, which created some excessive noise, though it didn’t detract too much from our experience.||The real letdown occurred during dinner. The process for managing dietary restrictions was unclear. When we were greeted by the front-of-house staff, they asked about allergies, which were duly noted in writing onto a sheet. Once at our table, I reminded the waiter to give me normal butter as i have an allergy to paprika which the butter was, when the waiter told inshould have told him of my allergy i pointed oit that i had told.the first waiter of my allergy and despite me raising it again albeit specifically about the butter I was made to feel as though I had not followed the proper protocol, with a comment that I needed to inform every waiter about my allergy. It would be more helpful if the first person to take allergy information could explain the process clearly, or perhaps the responsibility could fall on the restaurant to either tell the guest at the start this was thebprocess or ensure the allergy information is effectively communicated to the kitchen staff each time.||Additionally, when ordering a steak for my friend, I specifically requested it be cooked rare as he was very fuzzy the waiters reaction was if i was stupid not to expect it as i had ordered it. However, the steak arrived overcooked, with parts medium and some approaching well-done. No staff member checked in with us during the meal how it was, which meant I didn’t have the opportunity to mention that my two tiny venison portions were lukewarm to cold, as were the potatoes. While the food was flavorful, these issues unfortunately impacted the overall dining experience. On a positive note, the bread, starter, and dessert were delicious, and I did pass my constructive feedback on to the waiter to share with the chef.||The overall cost for food and drinks for two came to £180, which is on the higher end, though this included the service charge. The room was lovely and impeccably clean, and the L'Occitane toiletries were a nice touch. However, the underfloor heating didn’t work, and the bed was a bit too bouncy, with weak edges that made it feel as though you might roll off.||Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very attentive. We had a late checkout arranged, but unfortunately, our room key stopped working after 11 a.m., which caused some frustration. I noticed the same issue affecting another guest as well.||It’s been several years since I last stayed here, and I was looking forward to returning. While parts of my stay were disappointing, I do hope the hotel will take this feedback on board and make some adjustments. With a few improvements, I would be happy to return in the future.
