This is by far the nicest site we have ever stayed in by an absolute mile. Absolutely stunning. | You aren't allocated a pitch you choose your own on arrival. So obviously first come get the pick. Pitch sizes do vary considerably but all are a decent size. | Toilet blocks very clean, decent showers, background radio music. | There is LOADS of green space on this site. It's refreshing to find a site that doesn't cram caravans in to every space. | There are many walks branching in all directions from the site. All with stunning views . Arnside is a good half hour walk away and silverdale slightly nearer. | Decent stocked shop . Nice patio area for a quick pint. We never tried the pool or inside entertainment as had dogs with us. It would be nice if they had a section of the bar where you could take dogs inside. | There's a few scary country roads right near the site that can be a bit different with a tourer, but otherwise it's very easy to get to from the M6| Can't rate this site enough. Absolutely loved it. Will definitely return

Hi We. Stayed at Silverdale Holiday Park.|I reported the showers to the reception. That they only stay on for 20sec. She said she would report this but nothing was done for our stay. I checked 5 are 6 in 2 different shower blocks and they were all the same. I spoke to my sister this morning and she said they were the same when they stayed there. Looks like this has been a long-term problem. I stayed on £20 night sites with better showers. Even the showers in the pool area weren't much better. I thought I would shower in them to find they were the same only stayed on for 20 seconds. This will definitely stop me from coming to the site again. As this would be ashame as we loved the location and the pool area. Apart from the showers.

Beautiful stay in deluxe dens, The Burrow. Accommodation as described and perfect for what we needed. Large veranda with 6 chairs which got the afternoon sun, ample space for 2 cars to park, mezzanine beds and fold down bed in dining area particularly comfortable. Sofa bed fine for a night or 2. Plenty kitchenware.

1st and 2nd night there were 2 adults 2 kids, 3rd night 2 additional adults. I'd say it's ideal for 4 without everyone having to be up and super organised to still get on.

The park is beautiful and not crowded, the staff are friendly, beach is 5 minute walk and lots of other walks. Bowling was great, shop was stocked well, restaurant and bar were good with lots of choice, kids enjoyed the swimming and the parks.

A little warning on the mainly single track roads/road closures would be a great addition to communications.

Will definitely look to come back to Silverdale or one of the other Holgates parks. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely time for 2 nights with our two girls aged 7 & 4. The weather wasn’t great but that didn’t affect how much the girls loved the bunk beds, swimming and bowling. Everything was extremely clean, the staff were really friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for a great trip away and our trips to Cartmel and other beautiful surrounding areas made the location perfect.

First time we’ve stayed at Silverdale. We stayed in a caravan and were very pleased , great comfy beds , large television, modern bathroom etc etc . Everything on site was modern , clean and very well organised. We had a good meal in the restaurant and I enjoyed a swim . We did fabulous walks from the door , all round the Bay . I would highly recommend the site and hope to be back .

Beautiful caravan park very cosy and comfortable caravans but the best bit is the wonderful swimming pool with a hot tub sauna and steam room. Also a lovely cafe. And a nice view. There is a playground on the site overall it is a great open space and has great staff.

Had a wonderful time with our grandchildren. Luxury pods are superb, location 👌 and the site itself is immaculate with lots of green space . Facilities great , swimming, sauna , steam rooms and bowling.

We've just returned from a 6 day stay at Hollins Farm , fantastic as usual. Touring pitch is a great size, shower block is one of the best , lovely & clean. Fabulous walks on your doorstep. Staff are great , really helpful . Having the use of the leisure facilities, pool , bowling, bar & restaurant are an added bonus. We will definitely be back.
