From the moment we arrived, we received exceptional service from Naima and everyone we met. The interior of the holiday inn throughout was stylish and modern, very clean and of high standard. |We booked half board for 2 nights. The food was high quality, and really nice and Matthew and Suri delivered top service. It included a 3 course meal each night too. The breakfast was self service buffet style. So much option from fresh fruit, meat and cheese, cereals, porridge, seeds, pastries to full english. A variety of fresh juices, and unlimited hot drinks from the machine serving all different coffees. We didn't use the pool or gym whilst there, but others had mentioned how nice and warm the pool was. Beds and pillows were super comfy, and size of our room was good. Plenty of plug sockets, and lighting and a stocked mini fridge of water, plus ample tea, coffee, amenities which were topped up daily. Nice big car park which you pay for on check in, £5 per 24 hours. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

What a joy to stay in this hotel. It was the staff that made the visit the best - an exceptionally happy team!

We were welcomed on arrival, helped with the car parking payment system - everyone was warm and that just made the atmosphere of the stay good.

To name drop - special thanks should go to Emily at breakfast, and the sociable and friendly character of Patricia.

Nothing seemed too much trouble - we were warmly invited to order things at breakfast to be freshly cooked - porridge, omelette and pancakes were all really good. This was so proactive.

But to make this review real, the one quirk of the stay was the lack of reliability of the lift. Because it was clear the staff were proactively managing this, I'm not making it a complaint - i think we saw the lift engineer 3 times! However we were on the 3rd floor.

The hotel was exceptionally clean.

We used the leisure facilities - good pool!

If we ever need a stay near Bristol again this will be a 'go-to' hotel!

This was my 3rd long stay and the menu had many more options and there were some new and pleasant staff members in the bar.

The rooms were clean and comfortable with drinks and snacks topped up daily.

The gym and pool were an excellent addition.

The guidelines say to not mention staff by name which is a shame as there are some really wonderful team members here that should be congratulated.

The lovely young man that checked me into my room was a delight, the bar staff and the lovely lady that checked me in for breakfast most days. The staff in the gym were also lovely as were all of the housekeeping staff that I encountered.

I didn't meet the kitchen staff but the food was pleasant. It is very highly priced though and I feel as though less people would be ordering takeaways if it were more competitively priced. I did have steak on one occasion which was disappointing but otherwise all of the food was very tasty.

Overall it was a very comfortable long stay away from home and I will be making enquiries for my next stay.

Stayed for just one night with my daughter and mum for a competition in Bath and girly weekend for my daughter's birthday. I mentioned this on booking and we arrived to balloons, chocolates, a lovely card and a birthday banner! She was thrilled. On top of all of the extras and wonderful room facilities. A hotel with conditioner is always a treat! We went for a swim and the pool was as warm as a bath and spotless. When we got back to the room someone knocked on the door with delicious brownies for her birthday too! Just immaculate and attentive service. She felt like a VIP. The bar area is gorgeously decorated and has board games to use. The breakfast was delicious. Absolutely faultless service. We are so grateful. Thank you so much. See you soon!

The staff were so welcoming and professional, checking in with each interaction that I was happy with my stay and the service. Room was a good size and extremely clean. The restaurant had a reasonable selection of meals and, again, the service was impeccable. The breakfast was freshly cooked and there was such a good selection of hot and cold foods to chose from. The pool looked lovely too. I will chose this hotel when on business in the near future.

Nice hotel for the price. The free pool was excellent. Bit disappointed to have to pay £5 a day for parking. The room was nice and quiet, and the beds clean and comfortable. We didn't have the breakfast, as it was very expensive.

I stayed here for 2 weeks and it was really pleasant. The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel bar, gym, pool and rooms were delightful.

For such a long time away from home it was as comfortable as it could be.

Breakfast was delicous and although the menu was limited during the refurb everything that i had was delicious. I'd have eaten there every evening if it was a little less expensive.

Otherwise I'm very grateful to all of the wonderful staff that made my stay so pleasant they really are a credit to the chain.
