Had a great short break here, good value as an IHG member. Easy to find, conveniently 15-20 mins drive into Cambridge.
Restaurant has good choice for dinner and breakfast. Swimming pool is warm and nice.
King size & sofa bed standard room was fine, bit tired in places but plenty of space and comfortable. I'd go here again.

Room was great. One of the few places we've found that can accommodate a family of five in one room. Which was spacious. A short drive to the park and ride to get into Cambridge.
The food we had wasn't up to much at all and very overpriced. I'd stop there again. But wouldn't eat there.

Room is fine. Service most definitely not. Trying to get a kids meal with two sides is obviously too complicated. Tried to charge us 12 quid for a kids meal (which is £5.95) with beans. Then after pointing out clearly beans can’t possibly be £6 they tried charging for a starter to add beans then messed about with the system for about 5 minutes. Then proceeded to wait 15 minutes for a Guinness which we only got after chasing at the bar (they forgot) and already asking one member of staff who just said “dunno” and walked off as was from the restaurant. Poor stuff. The bar and restaurant are set out nicely, however. Bed I found very uncomfortable and would advise setting the room temp low as they get very warm through the night.

What a great hotel!

Quick and easy check in from a very welcoming member of the team. Didn't realise until I got to my room but I had been upgraded to a suite which was a nice touch and included a fridge with water, coffee machine and blue tooth speaker.

Went for a swim and used the steam room which was well maintained (although I like the temperature to be a bit hotter than it actually was in the latter). Don't normally eat at hotel restaurants but it was late and didn't want to drive into Cambridge but had a lovely meal there too. Good breakfast with takeaway coffee cups too.

Excellent hotel stay again, staff very welcoming and food and service great.

Rooms are nice and quiet, only down side is the bath\shower looked a bit old and tatty but everything fine.

They used to offer free parking but you have to sign up to the Holiday inn site to get free parking now which I would rather not have had to do.

Minor gripes but would recommend and stay again.

Really comfortable Hotel with a fantastic staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and looked after. This being part of a big chain, one would expect the cookie cutter approach however, it's not. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped the gym has a decent size pool and Steam, Sauna and Jacuzzi plus a really well equipped gym and dance studio. Food is really nice with a decent selection that's not too fancy. Definitely decent portions.|Histon the town next door has good restaurants if you fancy a change try The Boot Brassiere≥|So all in all if you want a really comfortable home away from home off the major motorway network and close to the historic Cambridge. This is your place. BTW Join IHT Holiday Rewards and you get free parking.

We were pleasantly surprised as we booked late.staff were excellent throughout ( well done Alan on arrival, good helpful information regarding visiting, public transport advice and bonus with parking as IHG member over and above).|Room was clean and tidy, slept well. Sofa bed was much larger than normal. Not disturbed by a Christmas Party in hotel, evening meal was good fayre. Great gym and pool.|Bathroom was fine and shower as good but to get 5 * need to upgrade bath/ shower bit tired|Would stay again.

Every member of staff that we dealt with was pleasant, professional and attentive. We felt very welcome.

The room was very nice and comfortable. We went out into Cambridge for the evening and then enjoyed a drink and some snacks in the bar when we got back. Service was excellent.

Breakfast the following morning had lots of variety and was good quality food.

Staying with you was very good value for money because of your better services and facilities than other places we have stayed before at a similar price point.
