Another great stay .. with a friendly warm welcome from Mel on reception..

Great specials on the menu this week so great job George the chef..

Attentive Caitlin ensuring the bar area runs smoothly..

I had an upgrade as well which was lovely.

Finally LaLa is back .. a great night team LaLa and also night porter Richard. In all a winning team looking after guests in a friendly atmosphere and making them feel at home.

I insist in being called by my first name and not as Mr … but apart from that all good !

Stayed a couple of nights to attend my brothers funeral - the wake was also at the Holiday Inn - and I have to say that this is the best Holiday Inn I have stayed at in either the UK or the USA. The food in the restaurant was outstanding, the buffet for the wake was plentiful and delicious. Rooms were spacious and despite the outside temperature being -4 were all nice and warm with the option to cool the room via air con or open the window - if like me you like your room to be freezing!

Have to give a shout out to Louise who did the booking and ensured that my booking was put onto my IHG membership, also to Mel on reception who was outstanding and to Emily on housekeeping who left my room spotless.

Thanks again for making a difficult visit a breeze.

We enjoyed another visit to our favourite hotel ,spending time with Family and Friends.

Every member of the Team welcomed us wamly and ensured we wanted for nothing.Having said that we would have liked a few more traditional British dishes on the reduced menu and less which were based on pasta or burgers.

There was a happy atmosphere throughout our stay .

Another excellent stay .. my only gripe is that there is no bottled water in the standard rooms. A mention for Anne who sorted the decaf teabags .. thank you. The star of the hotel .. Mel with a warm friendly welcome . The twins behind the bar are very attentive and make you welcome.. and the specials from the chef … we’re just amazing .. both the chicken and the spicy hotpot. Not sure of there names but they deserve a big thank you. All staff are amazing and an excellent experience as always .. a big thank you again .

Staff are friendly and helpful offering great service throughout. Popular and busy hotel. Location is just outside Corby with nothing much around. Modern style hotel with large well appointed rooms, shower heads could do with updating as all not fully functional in the rooms I stayed in over a 3 week period. Very much a work hotel during the week. Buffet breakfast is good and dinner menu choices good if food only 3 out of 5.|Gym and spa onsite but gym need an equipment update as old|Lobby, bar and restaurant can feel cold.|Constantly have to log in and out of Wifi

I was greeted by Mel and Laura on reception at checkin who were very friendly,welcoming and explained the facilities within the hotel and the dining times .

The room was very spacious , clean with walk-in shower .

The food was really good and Richard serving behind the bar was a really friendly guy . In the evening I spoke to Annette in reception who was really friendly and helpful.

Following morning I had breakfast that was really good with a fantastic choice.

Checking out I was greeted by Mel and Ellen who were really efficient and friendly and asked if my stay was ok .

I will say that all the staff seemed really fruendly and nothing is too much trouble .The girls on reception Laura , Mel ,Annette and Ellen are a great asset to the hotel and makes everything run like clock wok .

I stayed here for work and it was a great experience all round. ||The rooms were stunning, so much space and huge cosy beds with lots of desk room and brilliant showers. The restaurant was varied and affordable and had some great dishes. ||The pool, sauna and hot tub facilities were a great bonus - well maintained, clean, a decent size and had useful Changing Places facilities for disabled guests. ||The conference rooms were well equipped, with the team all knowing exactly what was going on and everything being set up perfectly. ||Would absolutely stay here again for travel or to host meetings and events.

My main purpose of this review is to praise the reception staff. Mainly "Annette" who provided an outstanding service and was helpful in every way. Nothing but nothing was any trouble for her. Also her reception colleagues Mel and Helen were very helpful and professional in every way.

These ladies can make or break a guest stay from the offset and on this occasion they made it a pleasant and delightful stay. Well done Annette. !!!!
