I am currently writing a book on hospitality. The Holiday Inn Express Bedford will definitely be featured in it and here is why.||From start to finish all the staff were amazing!! From the time I arrived Sunday afternoon for a 2 night stay (sorry didn't get your name) I had a swift, professional and friendly check in, with the gentleman on reception. Immaculate room, very comfy bed with a great sized TV and powerful hot shower. The array of breakfast available hot and cold was beautifully presented . The hot breakfast was plentiful with the bacon being the showstopper! The gentleman supervising breakfast was attentive, constantly making sure customers had a high quality breakfast experience. ||I can thoroughly recommend the Makhani Curry for an evening meal . Succulent pieces of chicken in a rich curry sauce . Great service from the ladies in the evening.||Jena the Manager I did manage to have a quick chat with and told her how amazing her staff are , she replied, " I know I am lucky to have them " .||Thank you for a great stay to all the front of house staff as well as everyone behind the scenes.||PS. ample free parking definitely a top bonus.||Tracey L

Incredible customer service from reception staff. Had an issue with our room,instant reallocation, apologies & great gesture. Room clean, bright, warm &excellent compliments. Comfort ares refreshing & spotless High standard of Shower washing gels.
Breakfast slightly above standard but great pastries. No eggs, though, with cooked breakfast, which disappointed some!
Impressive soundproofing as main line to London runs close by.
Will visit Holiday Inn again when needed.

The Reception Staff were friendly and efficient in relation to answering calls, check-in, check-out and bar service. My room and en suite were exceptionally clean and comfortable. They were the right temperature and the shower was great. There was lots of choice for breakfast. The car park was right in front of the hotel and it was helpful to have a BP filing station and an M & S Express next door. It took just a few minutes to reach the places I needed to visit in and around Bedford. All in all, I had exactly what I needed. Thank you!

We booked this hotel last minute as we had a party near by and didn’t want to drive home. |The hotel was exceptionally good value. Free parking and breakfast included were the deciding bonus. |On arrival the staff were welcoming and friendly. Our 2 rooms were great, very clean and a good size. Nothing glam but comfortable and well laid out. |What really impressed us was the team effort. It was lovely to see each of the members of staff jumping forward to not only help guests, but each other. They worked slickly and couldn’t do more to make our stay comfortable. |I have been fortunate to stay in some amazing hotels and the team at the Holiday Inn Express (Bedford) have been the most supportive and cohesive display of commraderie and care I have seen. Hats off to Bright & Oliver.

I stay here often for work, this time it was for leisure and my partner Kate came along and also the dog - George. We stayed for 4 nights.

Arrival was great as Olga recognised me and said straight away " lovely to see you again", all the staff are great especially Olga, Bright and Jan in the kitchen, I see them often when I stay, just missed Barry who was on holiday bless him.

Thanks to everyone for making our stay special, we ate 3 nights in the evening too and we enjoyed the food.

Breakfast was great as always with plenty of choices.

George was very happy in the hotel too and everyone was lovely towards him.

Of the several hotels we have stayed in Bedford, this is the best value . It is also very comfortable and convenient for our needs. It is a bright, relaxing and welcoming hotel which includes a very nice breakfast.

On this trip we did experience one problem with the heating, but the staff were quick to organise some space heaters which did the job well

Very clean and comfortable rooms. My only complaint was the toilet roll was poor quality and could be improved. The staff were welcoming and very professional. Nice to have a bar in reception however we did not use it and the dining room and breakfast facilities were excellent. Good choice of foods for breakfast....hot and cold options.

I have stayed several times and think this is an excellent hotel. Very good value for money, good location, near to transport network.

The staff are amazing , friendly and so hard working. The rooms excellent size, very clean and beds so comfortable, didn't want to get up in the morning. Will definitely stay again. Thank you.
