I have been staying here for over 3 years now, and the service and rooms are still at a high standard. It is an Express which means it is suited for me, nice comfy bed, food I can eat with a choice and a nice welcome. The rooms are everything u want, clean, shower, toilet which are always cleaned to a high standard. The food is offered by a menu which does change so you don’t have to live on burgers and pizza only, breakfast is always spiced up by a selection of made bagels and sausages rolls as well as the normal selection.

Easy access to motorway and town centre. Room was clean & comfortable and complementary breakfast was good with plenty of variety including cold & hot options. Sufficient choice but I missed the mushrooms tomatoes and maybe black pudding 😁.

We stayed here last night Saturday 28th June🌙 lovely place, our room was lovely and clean, you could smell the freshness when you walked in. Members of staff were welcoming and friendly 😊. The bed was proper comfy, bedding 🛌 was nice and clean. My son said the sofa bed wasn't to good, he felt it uncomfortable 😕 hey ho. Shower was lovely and warm this morning. Maybe you should think of putting mini fridges in the rooms, just a thought. Weather has been good, we filled up the sink with ice just to keep drinks cool 😎. Xxxx

Very polite staff, quick check in. Room was clean, and a bonus was self-controlled air con - a rare find! Beds were super comfy and the two pillows option is great as I prefer soft rather than hard pillow. Very quiet and peaceful despite being just across a busy main junction. Good shower pressure and WiFi accessibility was also beneficial.

Breakfast in the morning was fairly standard Holiday Inn style, nothing really to complain about at all!

Overall a great overnight stay and highly recommended.

What a nice surprise!|Choosing Holiday Inn Walsall has been a great decision. |The Staff: After staying in some of the best hotels in the World, one comes to the decision that management and staff are the key to a successful stay|We enjoyed our initial welcome and check-in from Mani the Receptionist and Gary the Manager. They were warm, friendly and so professional; they would have graced the Ritz.|The breakfast staff and housekeeping ladies were equally personable, friendly, helpful, chatty and all of them were obviously proud of their hotel and welcomed guests. What a team!|Well done Holiday Inn.||The rooms: were extremely clean and well maintained. The decor and furnishings were thoughtful and comfortable. We even had an iron and ironing board, and tea making facilities. The bed was comfy with optional soft/firm pillows |The bathroom had a good shower and toiletries were a free option.||Brealfast: was fantastic. Every option was available, hot or cold, with plenty of fibre and healthy fruit for the diet conscious.||Bar and ambience: The Hotel has a very nice bar/lounge seating area and a menu we've yet to try.||Overall...this is a great and surprisingly good short stay hotel. In contrast to the grim Walsall alternatives, this is light years ahead of competitors. Thank you especially to the staff of Holiday Inn Walsall. You are a credit to your organisation.|Bernie

I had a lovely stay here for 2 nights. On the 1st night I had the best sleep I have had in a long while, unfortunately other guests were quite noisy going to breakfast the following day and also the people upstairs (child) seemed to be banging on the wooden table quite early in the morning.
Breakfast was ample but just wished there were more vegan options like the milk to be readily available rather then having to ask staff for it. Bananas were quite green and not ripe enough.

I had a spur of the moment event so decided to book a stay in the West Midlands and chose the Holiday Inn Express on the junction with the M6. The hotel is really easy to find if you are coming off the motorway and is on the main road from Wolverhampton to Walsall.||When I checked in Mani and Gary were on duty and they gave me a really warm welcome and provided me with all the information I needed. Later I popped down to reception to get some more tea bags and Mani happy obliged.||Although the hotel is next to a busy motorway there were no issues with noise and when I returned to the hotel after an evening out all as quiet and I did not get any disruptions. There is parking available for the hotel including limited spaces beneath the building.||Breakfast was provided in my stay and I took advantage of this. It was quite busy with lots of other guests having the same idea. This meant that it was a bit of a bottleneck in terms of people trying to get something to eat from the wide variety of things available and also staff trying to replenish things. The food was all in a small closed in area and this meant people were milling about and it was very cluttered.||That said the food was really good and I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast.||I hope you appreciate my kind words about my stay. I hope you will be delighted to know that I had a wonderful time at your hotel. It's good to know that you strive to provide the best experience possible and I bet you are thrilled to know you succeeded.

Stayed here for the first time for one night over Easter weekend as visiting family in Birmingham. As an IHG member we use these hotels a lot and regular. One hotel in Oldbury knows my daughter by name and her favourite snacks for reference of how often we visit. This hotel was a budget hotel and cost around 30.00 with my points on my IHG account, It was clean, the lady on reception at check in was lovely and friendly and did her job quickly which was nice, had me checked in in no time and also made us feel welcome giving my daughter a snack. ||Breakfast was free which is always a plus and so was parking. Breakfast was your usual holiday inn full English style with continental cereals fruits and so on. A first ive seen in these hotels is a pancake making machine which my autistic child absolutely loved, she struggles a lot with food and she really enjoyed pushing the button making her own fresh pancakes and had 5 to herself. Definitely set this hotel ahead with the pancake machine. ||There is good seating In front of the bar and plenty of snacks to buy Inc alcoholic drinks and bottled |||However the reason this hotel doesn’t get 4/5 stars from me as a regular and a IHG member I am fully aware what being a member means, me and my daughter got in Saturday evening and brought some snacks and I mentioned about my late check out.. as normally being a member I never have any problems and I called previously and was told this shouldn’t the a problem mention it to reception. I forgot to mention it on check in hence why I did it a couple of hours later. |I understand it’s subject to availability however when I asked do I have late checkout as a member the lady said “no” not no sorry or let me check and I was a little miffed, however not going to stand there arguing in front of my child, I actually only wanted around 40 mins or so late checkout as my family event didn’t start until 1230 nearby, meaning we had to drive around and park up in the car having nothing to do.||This was the first and only hotel I’ve ever been told a strict “ no members don’t get late check out” again she didn’t check the systems or even ask how late I wanted to check out, it was just a straight no. I’ve stayed in IHG many many times including very very busy weekends and it’s never ever been a problem before, so I was a little shocked at this. Whether it was just she couldn’t be bothered or the hotel just doesn’t allow its members to use the member benefits which is crazy to me as what’s the point in signing up if only specific hotels follow the perks! ||This has kind of put me as again I Called beforehand and was told it wasn’t a problem. I don’t think I’d return again and would rather drive the extra 20 mins to hotel we are used to staying in. ||Hotel itself is clean, rooms are decent sized, shower was okay, flooded a little but nothing extreme!
