The hotel is in a nice and peaceful location with ample parking on site too. All staff members we met were friendly, polite and we were giving interconnecting rooms, which was a bonus especially with kids! The rooms were of a reasonable size for the price we paid and we were given complimentary toiletries when asked (we had forgotten a few bits!). The breakfast was as expected for a 3 Star with a range of hot options, range of fresh fruit, hot drinks, cereals, yogurt, toast, croissants, cupcakes, spreads and juice-I’m sure I’m missing something else!

I've stayed at this hotel couple times. The location is very nice but a bit away from the city centre. The food is not that bad but requires lots of improvements. They don't offer too many options and the last fish and chips I ordered was terrible bad. Breakfast is fine. The room is comfortable but there is no bath. Only shower. The staff are very welcome to and friendly.

We were very impressed with the hotel and its staff. Staff were efficient and professional. The reception was welcoming and room perfect for a stopover stay, clean, warm and cosy. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful with a choice of foods both cold and hot foods. Tables were cleared and cleaned quickly and staff efficient. The hotel itself has a great vibe and we would thoroughly recommend it.
Just a mention but not a negative .. it’s a 50 minute walk into the centre of town .. but we enjoyed the walk. Taxi back was only £15 so no big deal. Great find!!!

Husband needed to be in Cambridge for numerous tests at Papworth Hospital.

Hadn't stayed here before, but it was closer to the hospital. Lounge and dining accommodation quite dated and functional, rather than comfortable. The lift slow, shaky and screechy.

Staff amazing, in particular Edward, Patrick, Kyda (who was very helpful on 1st night of our stay), and Appy (who was so kind when my husband had to stay in hospital the second night, I didn't feel alone, can't thank her enough). These staff made our stay a lot better.

Bedroom, fine and comfortable, would benefit from a plug near a mirror, for hair drying and styling.

Breakfast, good selection of cereal, bread, croissant, juices, hot drinks. Only one option of fruit, apples.

Hot food not so great, apart from the sausages and beans. Bacon and hash browns overcooked, tomatoes undercooked, scrambled eggs powdery, dry and tasteless.

Disabled parking appreciated.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express Cambridge was absolutely wonderful. The room was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, making us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout our visit.||The customer service at the front desk was top-notch – a solid 10/10. The staff were incredibly helpful, accommodating, and always ready to assist with any requests or questions we had.||The location of the hotel was perfect for our plans. Many of the places we wanted to visit, such as Cambridge University, Cambridge Market Square, Mathematical Bridge, The Corpus Clock, the Cambridge Mosque, were just a short 10-15 minute drive away. It made exploring the city so convenient and enjoyable.||The breakfast provided by the hotel was excellent, with a good variety of options to suit all tastes. The sitting area was clean and pleasant, adding to the overall great experience.||Overall, our stay at the Holiday Inn Express Cambridge was very enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cambridge!

Stay here was pleasant. Building and facilities look stunning, particularly at night. Access is good, parking is available, although listed as free online, however is chargeable although it is discounted.

Service could have been better. I had called prior to arrival as I expected we would be checking in late, and was assured that was no problem. However upon arrival after midnight, not only were we (family of 4, with children, one under 10 and one under 5) given a family room considerably far away from the entrance, but the key card failed. Once that was resolved, we found the beds were not ready for us, sofa bed had not been set up, no bedding for it in the room either. After multiple trips up and down to reception to get these issues resolved did we finally manage to get the kids into bed and get to sleep ourselves.

Breakfast was sufficient and nice, although no vegetarian sausage options, although the website says they cater for it upon request. When requested, was told no, they don’t have any.

Our 2nd stay here and overall a decent experience, could’ve been better.

We stayed here for one night with our dog. The receptionist (I don’t get her name but a you d girl with dark hair) was so friendly, helpful and professional. We arranged for us to have a dog friendly room in the new part of the hotel. |The room is extremely clean and the bed was comfortable. I bought my own pillow with me but husband said they were pretty good. |The heating and air con was very effective and easy to use. |We went to breakfast at 8:40 and there was still lots of choice. My husband bagged the last croissant and I just missed out on the berries fruit and yogurt. There were plenty of apples and oranges left. I do recommend ear plugs as the doors are heavy and bang!

A good value hotel with parking which could be so much better if the bathrooms were refurbished and housekeeping was improved.

Breakfast is very good in a pleasant dining area but coffee from the machine could be better.

Staff were friendly and helpful, they were able to give good advice about taking public transport into the city centre: a ten-minute walk down the path outside the hotel then the No.2 bus, takes about 15 minutes.
